Did you know my morning started out wonderfully? I thought that as well but what I didn't know was that my morning and my life were going to change. How? Well, it started with our family.....our family grew..again.

Our family just grew and it started after our walk to the park. Max was talking about how horrible it was to have a child and I was just watching them...for some reason I have been have some new instincts. I've been wanting to watch kids and protect them...I don't know what's going on either. I just hope Katie doesn't notice or else she'll take me to the vet again...

Anyways, Max continued to speak about how disgusting they were but I wasn't  listening. A blond kid ran by me playing with a black tri-colored chihuahua. I washed my tail and was about to go play with the kid before I stopped myself.

An Old English Sheepdog is carrying two children on its back, barking and playing. A group of other kids runs after it playfully. They all ran pass me...is the universe trying to tell me something?

Just as I think that, one of the kids trips over a picnic basket which makes me panic and run over.

"Are you alright! Do you need medical care!" I ask as I ran over and hover over them. I started to lock their face and sniff them....they seem alright. The child just laughs and continues chasing the Old English Sheepdog. Wait! Come back. I ran after the child. As I continue to chase the child, I notice a couple of dogs in front of them! Oh no! What if the child gets hurt!

"Get out of the way!" I yelled out as we get closer to them.

The beagle jumps out of the way along with my brothers. Phew, the kid is safe. Now to catch the child.

Minutes later...
"No." Katie tells me.

Whimper

"No! You can't take a child home just because you want to!" Katie tries to tell me. Hah! Like I'm leaving this tiny human! I curl more around the kid and tried to make puppy dog eyes.

"No. Now say bye." Katie tells me as she grabs my leash and the kid is taken back by their parents. My kid!

Time skip:
Katie was walking Max, Duke and I through the streets but I was walking slowly behind them....I miss my tiny human.

BUUUUCK

What was that?! Oh...just a man crashing into a taxi cab. The man flies over the trunk of the car and lands on his back, dazed. Katie soon rushes over to him.

"Are you okay?" Katie ask worriedly.

"Uh, yeah!" Chick says stunned before laughing when Duke goes and licks his face.

"Duke! Don't lick his face! You don't know where he's been!" I yell to him.

"But I like him! He smells like a good person!" Duke shouts. Hmm, he does but I don't know..Katie also looks like she likes him...does she see him as a potential mate? Who know?

Months later...
Well, it looks like Chuck ended up staying with us longer. Katie and him started to date and than they moved in together. I soon grew to like Chuck and so did Max and Duke. Every time he came over, they would go up to him with their tails wagging.

And next thing you know, Katie and Chick were married. Wow, how time goes by. It was a beautiful wedding that we enjoyed...from a distance. Chuck's relatives were strict with the whole 'pets stay outside thing.' How rude...

Anyways, a couple of weeks. Maybe a month, us dogs got the surprise of the lifetime. I think I was the first one to notice. It all began with a strange smell that came from Katie. Next thing you know, I'm following her everywhere. To her room, the bathroom, and I even tried to follow her outside...and every time Max and Duke got close to her, I would get tense and move closer to her. I don't know whats going on! I start doing other strange things like laying on her stomach for example.

A month later and I know what's going on. I don't know how I didn't know before but it was quite easy to see...Katie was pregnant.
