Why didn't Bella believe me? How could she do that? I can't believe that that stupid Noah guy is going to use my little sister. These thought race through my head as I sit at the dinner table.
"How was your guys day?" Ben asks smiling at all of us.
"It was good." Max says smiling back at him.
About thirty minutes later while I'm watching football with everyone, Max sits next to me on the coach.
"I heard about the fight at school today." He says looking at me.
"Yeah it's nothing." I reply keeping my gaze on the television.
"What did the principal say to you guys?" He asks interested in what I have to say.
"He brought me and Noah into his office and asked us what happened. Of course Noah lied and since we didn't have the same stories we both got three detentions and we had to say sorry to each other and write letters saying things like, "this won't happen again" and "we are sorry if we caused the school any trouble." Thankfully he didn't call home. But I'm going to have to tell Ben that I have three detentions anyways." I explain.
"Dang I'm sorry man." He replies.
"It's okay." I say back trying not to think about anything that had happened that day.
