When I walk into school on Monday a girl named Haley tells me what happened to Bella. I need to find her I think to myself. Just then I see Bella walking with Maddie and I walk up to them. Before Bella can say anything, I hug her.
"I'm so sorry.." she cries.
"It's okay." I reply.
I was just relieved that she was okay.
She tells me everything that has happened between her and Noah. I assume that Jakob must have drugged her. I feel angry and I know that I need to find him. I start walking down the hall and with every step I feel more and more anger. I see him laughing with his friends and I walk up to him. Before anyone can react I start punching him and I throw him to the ground. With every punch i feel more and more anger inside of me. Then my friends pull me off of him and his friends help him up.
"You drugged my sister huh?" I shout at him.
"I- I I'm sorry." He mumbles.
I see blood all over his face and I want answers.
"Why did you do it?" I yell.
"To help Noah get back at you." He says.
"Get back at me for what?" I ask.
"For rejecting his sister, Cora." He explains.
The name rings a bell and I remember rejecting her at the start of the year. I don't say anything. I look up at him wanting him to keep explaining.
"Noah used Bella to get a good grade and then tried to seduce her to get back at you for hurting his sister." He keeps explaining.
I suddenly don't feel mad at him anymore. I feel mad at myself. I wasn't there to protect Bella. What if I hadn't rejected Cora? My mind starts to race and I just walk away from everyone with my head down.
