(Authors Note/Trigger Warning: There's a mention of Self-harm in this chapter. This won't be the only one, so keep that in mind as there won't be anymore trigger-warnings!)
Louis keeps hold of Ryler's hand as they approach the recognizable black car with tinted windows. Harry steps around the side with black sunglasses perched on his nose and a smile on his lips.
"Hi, boys." Harry says, walking closer. He brings Louis into a side hug and Ryler hugs his leg since he's so small. "Liam's here too. He wanted to see Zayn." He explains with a chuckle.
Louis nods against the soft shirt Harry is wearing and he closes his eyes. "Zayn'll be excited." He assures, and backs away from Harry. "Thank you again."
"It's really no problem." Harry reassures and opens the back door to show Liam—who says a quick hello—and a brand new car seat that's perfectly installed.
Ryler is already climbing in and Harry allows Louis to do his own thing and buckle Ryler in. Once done, he clambers into the passenger seat and shoves his bag to the floor by his feet.
"Hey, little dude." Liam says to Ryler.
Ryler giggles for some reason and kicks his feet out. "'Ello! You're Liam?" He asks.
Harry looks into the rear mirror before pulling out and Liam nods. "I am. And are you Ryler?" He asks.
"You know who I am!?" Ryler asks in complete shock.
The rest of the drive is Ryler and Liam talking about superheroes and Louis and Harry holding hands over the middle console.
They arrive at the field and Ryler kicks his legs again, wanting to be let out. Louis smiles to Harry and gives him a quick kiss on the cheek before opening his door and grabbing his bag.
He unhooks Ryler from the carseat and lets him run over to the field to talk with the other boys on the team. They're all extremely supportive of Zayn and Louis and any of them would do anything for either of them.
He waves over to the team and signals that he's heading to the locker room to change. He completely trusts all of them with Ryler and knows that since it's still before practice, they'll probably kick the ball around with him.
"Are you both staying?" Louis asks, looking over to Liam and Harry who are now outside of the car.
Harry shrugs and walks closer to Louis. "We can leave if you want, doesn't matter. I think Li wanted to say hi to Zayn though." He explains as Zayn is already smiling and jogging over.
"You can stay if you want. Might be a bit boring." Louis laughs and takes Harry's hand in his own. "I need to change really quick."
Harry nods and looks towards the field. "Do you want me to stay?" He asks.
Louis twists his lips, thinking about his options. He feels bad because he doesn't want Harry to feel like he has to stay, but he also really wants him to. So he nods and Harry smiles widely.
"It's decided then. Go get changed." Harry laughs as he lightly smacks Louis' bum when he begins moving away.
Louis chuckles and shakes his head. He makes it to the white and red locker room and quickly changes into his footie kit and laces up his cleats. When he's done, he fills his water bottle at the fountain and splashes some on his face.
He runs out to the field and smiles at Harry who is listening to Ryler talking intently. He drops his bag off by the others and begins warm ups.
To say it's an off day would be an understatement. Every kick and pass ends with a groan or a sigh and Louis is just about to be done.
