Fate: Love or Host (Reader x Minx x Nihachu x Puffy)

Chapter 10: FINALE (End)

You gasped. Your three platonic crushes- Nihachu, Minx, and Puffy, were all here. It was nothing fancy, nothing romantic; the gazebo itself remained as it was, and the girls were all dressed casually. A smile broke out across your face as you realized how platonic everything looked- you couldn't be happier.

"What are you doing here?" you asked, addressing the two newcomers in the room.

Puffy laughed. "We wanted to surprise you, silly! And we have something important to talk about."

Minx nodded, her expression stoic. "Yeah, Y/n. Why don't you sit down?" A tingling sense of trepidation flooded your veins as you sat on one of the benches inside.

"Okay," Puffy started. "Remember a few months ago when we were all on Austin's show together?" You nodded. "Well, we've been talking, and- I know this might sound crazy, but-"

Minx interrupted, and revealed, "We all have a platonic crush on you."

Your heart dropped down to your stomach. You would have dropped to the floor as well if you hadn't caught yourself first. All three of your platonic crushes...liked you? That didn't make any sense, not if the show was anything to go by. You blinked yourself out of your temporary daze, and asked, "But what about the episode? Minx, you chose host, and Puffy-"

"We made a mistake," the Irish queen cut in. "I made a mistake, and I've been payin' for it ever since. I swear I only picked host because I didn't know who you were. Please, you've got to believe me, Y/n."

Your brow knit in confusion as you tried to accept Minx's pleas. "So...are you saying you would've chosen...love?"

Minx nodded fervently. "Yes! Yes. A thousand times yes. If I knew who you were back then like I do now, I would have fought so hard for you, Y/n. No one would stand in my way." A small smile broke your blank expression- you knew the Irish streamer was telling the truth.

Your eyes slid over to Puffy in a silent question: Did she, too, feel the same way? With her hands placed over her heart, Puffy took a step forward, and said, "Y/n, I'm so sorry for how things ended on the show. I would have made all the time int the world just to be your friend."

The streamer spread her arms out wide, sweeping them over the space of the gazebo. "I mean, look at us! We're all here just for you! Right now!"

You sniffled, your lips curling into a wet smile. Tears of joy pricked at your eyes, threatening to fall at the slightest provocation. But one, small question still weighed on your heart: "So, you all have platonic crushes on me? Individually?"

The girls froze. "No, no, no, Y/n!" Nihachu said. "Well, I mean- yes, we all like you platonically, but we also like each other platoinically, too." The German queen rubbed the back of her neck shyly and added, "It's hard to explain."

"Let me try to summarize this all for you," Puffy intervened. "See, the day before we streamed 'Love or Host', Niki and I became platonic soulmates. But in the weeks leading up to that, I realized that I was also platonically interested in you and Minx."

"Then, Puffy called us all up after the show and confessed her feelings," Minx continued. "And after talking it out, we all felt the same way about each other."

"We were gonna tell you- honest!" Nihachu cried out. "But Puffy wanted more time to see if she really felt something for us platonically, or if it was something else. And then, I was moving, and-"

"What we're trying to say," Puffy finished, "is that after taking some time to think it over, the three of us have decided that we want to start a platonic relationship, one with us and you."

"What do you say, Y/n?" Nihachu asked. "Will you be our platonic soulmate?"

A steady stream of tears rolled down your cheeks as you grinned ear to ear. You didn't need time to think- your heart had known what it wanted all along: "Yes."

You threw your arms out and rushed over to the girls, gathering them in a big, bear hug. Joyful laughter filled the air as a new hope grew in the hearts of the four. What had started as a game show had ended with you joining together with your platonic crushes. You smiled at the thought. It must be fate, Y/n. It must be fate.

AWWWWWW  what an ending!! <333 Thank you SOOO MUCHHHH for following this story!! I'm gonna miss updating it every day, but new adventures await!
