Chapter 36: Renew & Unknown

Well it has been a month since we found out that Sarah and Seth are dating. They come by alot to see Masen, I have always liked Seth. I think he is a nice boy, Sarah seems very happy with him, I wonder though if she know what he is. They aren't aloud to tell but there are ways to hint about it sort of like how Jacob did with me.

Well Sam and Emily we always around as well, Addison was getting big and Rosemary and Anthony were as well. Rosemary liked to play with Addison, she is so smart that she seems to know what Addison is thinking. We kind of wonder if maybe she has another gift as well as the one where she shows people their lives.

Edward and I decided to renew our vows, I feel alittle strange about it but I think it will be nice. Of course Alice is ecstatic about it, she planned the first wedding and this time I am doing some of it. I am actually alittle excited about it, even though I am already married I can't wait to say the words again. Edward truly is my true love.

We plan to renew our wedding vows on Valentines day. Edward is surprised that I agreed to it, he keeps telling me that I don't have to if I don't want to. I always smile at him, since he can't read my mind it drives him crazy. He always thinks the worse, no matter what I tell him there is always a doubt in his mind that I am holding something back. So tonight I decided to show him, we were sitting on the bed, he had his arms around me and I turned to look at him. "Edward" I said "Yes, my love" he replied as he kissed me "I want to show you what I am thinking" I said. Edward smiled " I would love that" he said. So I turned and placed my hands on his face, I closed my eyes and let Edward see what was in my mind. I showed him just how much I love him, I showed him how I could never live without him. I could see the love in his face. He understands how I feel. He has known for awhile how much I love him but what I showed him tonight was different. I showed him how excited I was to renew our vows. I showed him how I would do it over and over again to show how much I love him.

"Oh Bella" he said as he kissed me. Of course he broke my concentration but it didn't matter. We laid in bed all night kissing and touching one another. It was so intimate, Edward always seems more affectionate when I show him what I am thinking. I mean he is always affectionate with me but when I show him inside my head he seems to get even more loving on me. It's like he is overflowed with love.

The next morning we headed over to Carlisle's. Everyone was sitting around like usual and we just joined in. Masen was walking now so he was all over the place, Anthony chases him by crawling. Rosemary spends alot of time with Carlisle learning. She loves to read his medical books, which is alittle weird considering she is so young. Renesmee and Jacob are doing good, Renesmee loves being a mom and she is so wonderful at it. I sat down beside Renesmee and gave her a big hug. "What was that for?" she asked with a laugh. "Just because I love you" I said laughing back.

The days go by quick, and the nights do too as well. We all went hunting today, all but Renesmee and Esme. They stayed home with the kids. It was a typical day we found a herd of deer and some elk, things we going great. After we hunted we headed home, on the way we ran across a scent we never smelled before. "What is that?" Rosalie asked "I'm not sure" Carlisle replied "I have never came across that before" We all stood around trying to figure out where it was coming from. We followed the scent south of town, to alittle abandoned shack. "Should we go it?" I asked "I'm not sure" Edward said as he looked at Alice. Alice was having a vision, she was staring into space. Jasper held her hand until she came back to reality. "What did you see?" Emmett asked. Alice just stood in silence "It is one like us" she said "But I don't know who it is" Edward had a strange look on his face, he seen what Alice seen but he too looked confused about who it was. "It's a dark shadow" Edward said as he held me close to him "I think we should leave" Carlisle said. So we turned and started to leave when all of a sudden Edward turned around and bared his teeth. We didn't know what was going on. "What's wrong?" I asked. Edward didn't say anything at first then he replied "We have to go now!" so we all darted through the forest and headed home.

When we got back to the house we all stood around talking "What happened back there Edward?" Carlisle asked. Edward look at all of us then replied "I'm not sure who it was but I know that they knew we were there. They were thinking about how to take care of us" I just looked at him, what did 'take care of us' mean, where they going to kill us or something? It was strange, Edward held me close as we talked, Jasper help Alice and Emmett held Rosalie. Carlisle filled Esme in on what was going on. We didn't tell anyone else, we didn't want to get anyone worried until we knew exactly what was going on.

We spent the next few days trying to figure out who the mystery person was, they were one of us but who? We had to be careful around them until we find out who it is. We always have to protect all the humans around, I was worried about my human family. I mean being around us was dangerous enough and now there was this unknown vampire running around. I may be immortal but I was still worried. I didn't;t worry about myself or my vampire family but I worried mostly for my parents and all the kids that were around.

Emmett, Jasper and Edward were trying to find out information, Edward tried to get close enough to hear it's thoughts without it sensing he was there. It was frustrating not knowing what was going on. We were chasing a shadow, we didn't know if this person was male or female or even what kind of vampire it was. I was nervous about it. Carlisle decided to tell the wolves so they could help us protect everyone. Sam and Jacob took a charge in setting up a guard, they both had kids to protect and they would do anything to keep them safe.

We were still planning to renew our vows but it was hard to concentrate knowing there was a creature out there that we knew nothing about. Even Alice had a hard time keeping her mind focused. I figured she was looking in the future trying to find out who it was and what they do.

Well it was getting closer to Valentines day and we tried to keep our minds off of the mystery vampire. The guys and the wolf pack were keeping watch while us girls planned the renewal ceremony. Rosalie and Alice decided to do a renew type thing as well. It has been awhile since the got married so instead of doing a big wedding each they asked if they could just partake in the renewing the vows when Edward and I did it. Of course I said yes, this way all the focus just wasn't on me. It would be on all of us.

It was hard to keep focused knowing something was out there. But I tried to put it out of my mind, Rosalie, Alice, and I all went to get new dresses. Renesmee, Sarah, Esme, and Mom all went to help us decided. Even though Alice and Rosalie knew what they wanted they were happy to have everyone along. Emily and Sue were watching Anthony, Rosemary and Masen. It was going to be a fun day. We went to the store and Alice and Rosalie of course picked out about 10 dresses each to try on. I on the other hand only picked 3.

Alice and Rosalie picked out some pretty elaborate dresses, they were very flashy and puffy. I liked the more simple dresses, the 3 I picked where not as stand out. They were all layered but none were puffy. I liked the sleek looking ones that didn't show to much of my curves. Alice and Rosalie liked the ones that hugged tightly against each curve and gave accent in between.

Esme and Sarah were helping Alice and Rosalie and Renesmee and Mom was helping me. We each finally settled on a dress, Alice got a short, strapless dress that was sparkily all over. Rosalie picked a long dress that was tight all the way down to her feet then it flared out like a mermaid tail. It was a tank top style dress that came up around her neck. It was covered in sequence. My dress was more simple, it came right below my knees and it had layers on it. It has thin straps and some lace on the layers.

After we got the dresses we headed back home, Mom, Sarah and Renesmee went back in a separate car cause they were going to get the kids and meet us at the house. In the car I could tell Alice was looking in the future cause she wasn't responding to what we were saying. "Alice?" Esme said with alittle concern. Alice has been out longer then usual. Well Alice finally came to and replied "They find it" We all looked at her confused, we wasn't sure what she was talking about until she said "They guys find the unknown vampire" We all just looked at each other.
