Chapter 19: Surprises

After the wedding we actually had a party, I know it was the typical thing you do after a wedding. Usually the bride and groom want to be alone, to...you know. But not Jacob and Renesemee, she wasn't ready and he wasn't going to make her. I don't think he was ready either.

Well it was a nice party celebrating Renesemee and Jacobs new life together. They seemed so happy, which made me happy. It was getting late and everyone had left. I think Renesemee and Jacob were afraid to go to their new house. I think they were afraid to be alone, which was alittle funny. "Congratulations honey" I said as I gave Renesemee and big hug. "Thanks mom" she replied hugging me back. She went to hug Edward and I hugged Jacob. "I'm glad Renesemee married you" I said. He smiled and replied "I'm glad you didn't try to kill me for marrying her" I looked at him and laughed "Well it did cross my mind" I said with a laugh. He looked at me and laughed "I bet you did" then him and Renesemee left.

I helped Esme clean up the mess as did the others. Emmett, Rosalie, Jasper and Alice all went hunting. Carlisle and Esme were in the kitchen, Edward and I sat down on the couch. "Do you think she will be alright?" I asked "I'm sure she will be fine" Edward said as he kissed my neck. "How come you are so calm?" I asked Edward smiled then replied "You forget, I can read their minds. I know what they are thinking" I looked at him and asked "So what are they thinking?" Edward smiled and kissed me. Then he said "They are both scared, neither of them are ready to be intimate" I knew it, I knew Jacob was just as scared as Renesemee was. Which was a good thing.

Well the next day Renesemee and Jacob were here bright and early. Which was funny seeing how they should be on their honey moon. "Hey mom" Renesemee said as her and Jacob came through the door. "Hey honey" I replied "What are you doing here?" "Yeah" Edward said "Shouldn't you be on your way to Paris for your honeymoon?" They both laughed then Jacob said "Renesemee didn't want to go till after your birthday Bella" I looked at them both like they were crazy. "I don't have a birthday anymore" I said Renesemee laughed then said "You may not age mom, but you still have a birthday" I looked at her then laughed "Yeah" I said "You all seem to keep reminding me of that" "Anyway" Renesemee said "We are going to Paris for a month but we don't want to go till after your birthday, otherwise we will miss it" I gave her a hug and said "That is sweet honey, thank you" She smiled at me as did Jacob and Edward.

Well my birthday was a couple weeks away. Renesemee and Jacob won't leave till after and then come back in late October. I was kind of happy in a way, I would get to see them alittle longer before they left. Well the next few days went quick like they usually did. Edward and I were planning on moving back into our cottage soon. I couldn't wait, it was going to be great. I would miss being so close to my family but I would also enjoy being alone with my husband. I have always been the type to prefer being alone as to being in a crowd.

Well as the days went by mom and Charlie came around alot to see Renesemee and Jacob so did Billy and the wolves. It was more comfortable for Billy and the wolves since Renesemee and Jacob had their own house now. Not that they didn't like us or anything but it was more comfortable for us too for them to be in a separate house. Sarah spent alot of time there as well, Renesemee offered to let her stay there but she didn't want to intrude on them since they just got married. It was nice of Renesemee to offer though I know how close her and Sarah have become since Sarah found out Renesemees secret. Ally and Amy came around a good bit as well I think they are more comfortable at Renesemees house then they were here, which I can't blame them. I mean being in a house full of vampires could be frightening.

Well days kept passing and then it was unfortunately my birthday. I had hoped I would have to quit celebrating after I was changed 7 years ago. I am going to be 18 forever, no matter if I celebrate my birthday or not, I will never age, not anymore. Well as usual Alice planned a party, I hated parties. Although I will admit I liked the ones we had for Renesemee. Well it was just mainly family there, mom, Phil, Charlie and Sue. Along with Jacob, Renesemee, Sarah, and all the rest of my new family. Well surprisingly it was a nice party, I got some nice things from my family. Charlie and Sue got me some jeans, Mom and Phil got me a shirt, Renesemee and Jacob got me a necklace, Alice, Jasper, Emmett and Rosalie all gave me some weird body spray stuff that smelled like my old shampoo I used when I was human, Carlisle and Esme gave me a bracelet, Sarah gave me a shirt as well, and Edward gave me a ring. Not just any ring it was a mothers ring. It was beautiful, it had my birthstone on one side, Edwards on the other and Renesemees in the middle. "I love it" I said as I gave him a big hug and kiss. Edward just smiled. "I love all my gifts" I said "Thank you all so much" Every one smiled then laughed cause they all know I hate to get gifts.
