"Hello Gentlemen" Andrea said as she smiled at Luca and Logan.
Iris stood directly behind Andrea, her eyes glued to the floor.
"Who's that behind you?" Iris shook at the sound of the baritone voice.
Andrea turned to face Iris "Move forward let them see you"
Iris took steps forward slowly.
"I caught her eavesdropping on your conversation" Andrea said.
Iris' head was still down, she could feel the phone in her bag buzzing and was glad she kept it on vibration if not the ringing sound would embarrass her more.
"Raise your head" Andrea said.
Iris raised her head slowly to meet two pairs of eyes, one ocean blue and the other cold grey.
She shuddered,
Luca, she recognized him, he is the blonde with blue eyes, but the stranger beside him with the long black hair and cold dark eyes giving off a particular aura that she couldn't quite decipher is what is making her terrified.
Luca chuckled.
" Oh God, Andrea you've scared this girl shitless"
Iris took a quick glance at the dark eyed stranger. He was watching her, His head was slightly tilted, it made Iris feel like he could see past her facade.
"I've never seen her around here before" Andrea said.
"Can you just let her speak?" Luca asked.
"I'm not stopping her" Andrea replied.
"Who are you?" Luca asked.
Iris regretted taking a second glance at the dark eyed stranger because he made her feel like she has lost her voice with his intimidating stare so she kept staring at the handsome face of Luca.
She cleared her throat
"I'm Iris Chapman, I just got a job here and I'm to start tomorrow, I..I. kinda lost my way from Mr Pickett's office..... and...."
Iris breathed hard.
"Are you okay?" Luca asked her, he touched her shoulder tenderly.
Iris shook her head.
"No, I think I'm having a panic attack"
Iris rubbed her palms together and breathed in and out through her mouth.
Luca pulled out a chair.
"Sit"
Iris nodded and sat but kept breathing hard.
She could see Andrea roll her eyes from the corner of her eyes but couldn't dare to look at the dark eyed man.
"Is there something I can do to help, Water?"
Luca asked.
Iris nodded.
Luca reached for one of the untouched bottle water that was arranged on the board table.
"Here" He stretched it to her.
Iris nodded and collected it. She took two gulps from the bottle.
"Better?" Luca asked.
"Yes, thank you" Iris said.
Andrea scoffed.
"You can leave now" Luca said.
Iris stood up and trotted out.
"Luca why would you just let her go" Andrea said aloud.
"What do you expect me to do, kill her?" Luca asked.
"Logan why are you quiet?" Andrea asked.
Logan smirked slowly.
"I think she is pretty"
Luca scoffed and Andrea groaned in frustration.
"What were you guys talking about before I walked in?"
"Why do you want to know?" Luca asked.
"So I can know what important stuff she knows" Andrea said.
"It's not something secret, so stop bothering yourself"
Luca said.
"Whatever" Andrea said and walked out.

Iris heaved a sigh of relief when she walked a distance from the company's building.
She was so glad her panic attack trick worked if not, they may start to suspect her.
But the cold steel stare of that stranger bothered her, but she tried to push it to the back of her mind.
She smiled, today was a success, Luca was so nice to her and now he knows her name.
Iris was tempted to twirl around in happiness, her phone buzzed.

Iris smirked and typed.

She ordered an Uber with a smile on her face.

"Why didn't Luca want to tell me that the both of you were talking about Taylor?" Andrea asked with a pissed expression on her face.
"This is the reason why we didn't want to tell you in the first place" Logan said calmly.
Andrea scoffed.
"It's not my fault that Taylor is acting like an insecure bitch, Luca is my friend and the sooner she gets that the better"
"You should be telling that to Taylor not me, leave me out of this, by the way, has Eddie released the shipping documents?" Logan asked.
Andrea frowned.
"I've asked him and tried my best to convince him but he won't agree to our terms"
"Then make him" Logan stood up angrily and stormed out.
Andrea sighs in frustration and she pulls out her phone.

Iris smiled when she sighted Ariel's truck, after paying the Uber she got down and walk towards the truck, Ariel got down from the truck and they both hugged each other.
Ariel gave her a big kiss on her forehead,
"I'm so proud of you baby"
"I know that" Iris replied.
"Let's get into the truck, we have so much to talk about" Iris added.

"You are right he has a girlfriend named Taylor Donovan" Ariel scratched his head.
"That shouldn't be a problem because I think they are having issues in their relationship" Iris replied as she ate her sandwich.
Sheri showed Iris a picture on her phone.
"Do you recognize this lady?"
Iris studied the picture.
"I've seen this woman"
Her mind drifted back to the brunette she saw at the waiting room.
"I saw her at the company today" Iris said.
"This is Taylor Donovan" Sheri said.
"Wow, that makes a lot of sense" Iris sighed.
"So, we need to work hard and you need to prepare for tomorrow" Sheri said.
Iris nodded.
