Iris flashed a small smile at Daphne and Thomas, Faye just introduced her to them and they were all eating at the lunch table.
"Why isn't Paula having lunch with us again?" Faye asked.
Daphne laughs.
"Are you seriously asking that question? Andrea is back, which means more work for them"
Iris cleared her throat.
"Is she that bad?"
They all exchanged looks with each other before bursting out in laughter.
"Oh darling, you should be grateful that you work for Steve and not in the advertisement sector or you will feel like quiting your job" Thomas said.
"I just feel like she is a bitter woman that's all" Daphne said.
"Daphne, that's not a nice thing to say" Faye narrowed her eyes at Daphne,
"Who exactly is she?" Iris asked.
"She is Logan Michelson's younger sister and she is so proud of that, like it's her greatest achievement" Daphne chuckled.
Iris was confused,
Logan Michelson?
Ariel didn't tell her about any Logan.
"Who is Logan Michelson?" Iris asked.
"Wow Iris, you are just like me always the inquisitive type" Daphne said.
Iris laughs nervously.
"It's all right, I'll tell you everything" Daphne touched Iris's hand lightly.
Faye rolls her eyes and Thomas ate his lunch quietly.
"Logan Michelson, well he is one of the bosses at Chevron, very wealthy, I'll give you this assignment, google his net worth, so you will know how wealthy." Daphne had a dreamy look on her face.
Iris nodded, hoping to hear more and for some reason her mind flashed back to the devilishly handsome stranger.
Could that be Logan Michelson.
She thought.
Daphne leaned in,
"Rumor has it that he is involved in the mafia" she whispered.
"Daphne" Faye warned.
"What? I didn't say anything wrong, I just told her about the rumours" Daphne defended herself.
"If anyone asks, I wasn't here and wasn't listening to this conversation" Thomas said.
Daphne smiled at Iris,
"You see, they are all scared of him"
"What about Luca Michelson, Are they brothers?" Iris asked.
"Oh darling, they are not related, just best friends, it's actually just a coincidence that they share the same last name" Thomas said.
"Thomas, I thought you didn't want to be included in the conversation" Faye said.
"I changed my mind" Thomas replied.
"You are wrong Thomas, what I heard is that, Luca's father adopted Logan or Logan's father adopted Luca one of them, so technically they are brothers" Daphne said.
Thomas scoffed.
"I wonder where you get your stories from"
"Be quiet, my story is legit and yours is bullshit"
They kept chatting while Iris went lost in her own thoughts.
It was clear that the staffs at Chevron knew little about their bosses,
She will have to find out more somewhere else, this seems a little harder than she thought it would be,
Iris wanted to ask about Taylor and what Logan Michelson looked like but she didn't want to raise any form of suspicion and what Daphne said about Logan Michelson being involved in the mafia scared her.
Luca and Logan are best friends according to Thomas and if what Daphne said is true then, Luca may also be involved in the mafia and swindling the mafia is like a death wish or suicide.
She hastily brought out her phone and searched for Logan Michelson on Google.
It brought out pictures and some information about him.
Her heart skipped a beat when her eyes landed on the familiar cold grey eyes.
She was right, He is Logan Michelson.
"Iris" Faye said.
Iris looked at her.
"Is something wrong?" Faye asked.
Iris shook her head.
"Nothing"
"I mean, you checked your phone and you looked suddenly worried or petrified, hope everything is fine"
Iris smiled.
"I'm fine and everything is fine, thanks for asking"
"Right, lunch break is over" Faye said.

Logan sighed, she was getting on his nerves with her constant whining.
"Why are you so obsessed with Taylor?"
Andrea's eyes widened,
"Why would you ask me that, I can never be upset with that bitch"
"Then take a break for once and stop talking about her" Logan replied.
"But.." Andrea tried to speak but he cut her off.
"You can leave my office now" Logan said, giving her a hard look.
Andrea scoffed.
"One day you will realize that your darling sister is always right about everything"
She walked out looking upset her heels clicking on the hard floor.

Iris was back at her desk, even on the very comfortable office chair she felt really uncomfortable due to anxiety.
She took deep breaths and drank some water. She opened Ariel's messages.

Make sure you meet him again today, we don't have all year.
Iris rolled her eyes before turning off her phone, she doesn't want to pick Ariel's call or even see his messages, she is certain that Ariel is aware of Luca's involvement in the mafia.
Since Logan is involved, then obviously Luca too should be.
After today, she is done with all of this, everything is just total bullshit and she is too young to die.
She looked at her office to do list.
Next on the list is to take the files in the red folder to Aspen.
Iris groaned, now who the fuck is Aspen.
