Chapter Twenty-Five

"You really have some nerve coming here" King said to Cade, they were both sitted in his office.

Cade chuckled as his one eye roamed around King's office.

He chuckled again before his eyes settle on King.
"Wow, I must say, you have really moved up the ladder old friend"

Cade leaned in before whispering.
"Tell me, what work did you do for Logan Michelson that he gave you one of his strip clubs to run?"

King scowled at him.
"I really think you should leave and never show your face here again"

Cade leaned back to rest on his chair.
"What you think, isn't important old friend, the point is that how come a mere street thug like you became this big?"

King stood up.
"Show yourself out before things get messy"

Cade rubs his palms together slowly, there was a grin on his lips.
"Sit, I have a business preposition"

"Why would I want do business with a snake like you?" King snaps.

Cade sighs.
"Because I thought you would rather be on the wining side"

King frowns in confusion,
"Wining.... What are you insinuating?"

"I'm coming for your bosses, and I'm going to hit them really hard where it's hurts the most"

Hearing what Cade said made King cackle.
"Logan took one of your eyes out, do you also want to loose the second one?"

Cade looked offended at what King said.

He stood up immediately.
"I came to warn you as an old friend but if you wish to burn with them then that's on you"

Cade stormed out of his office.

"Retarded fool" King chuckles.

"Pixie" he yells.

Pixie walks in.

"Make sure to instruct everyone that the Cade that just left here is banned from this club forever"

Pixie nodded.
"Got it"

Iris rushed into sweet p, she bumped into a guy in a white tux, wearing an eye patch that made him look mysterious.

Iris swallowed,
"I'm so sorry"

Cade looked at her with his green eyes and smirked.
"It's alright"

Iris nodded, she walked in, Cade watched her till she was out of sight before turning to leave.

Iris walked towards King's office, Pixie opened the door and came out of King's office before shutting the door.

Iris walked hurriedly towards her.
"Pixie hey"

Pixie turned.
"You? King is so mad"

"I ......"

"You don't have to explain anything to me, King is in his office you can explain to him, I have things to do"
Pixie walked away.

Iris groaned, she went to knock on King's door before walking in.

King was leaning on his desk smoking his joint.

He smirked when his eyes lands on Iris.
"Look who decided to grace us with her presence"

"This is ridiculous, why is Aspen here?"
Andrea whispered to Harper, one of their best snipers.

Harper shrugged.
"He is an ally"

"But this doesn't concern him, I think there is something fishy about this"
Andrea whispered again, she glared at Aspen as he took his seat, Aspen caught her gaze and winked at her.

Andrea scoffed and looked away.

About twenty people were in the room.

Taylor stood behind a dock her hair was packed up in a ponytail, she had a solemn look on her face.

Logan and Luca are sitted across her, while the others stood at opposite sides.

Taylor took a quick glance at Aspen.

He nodded at her with a small smile on his face.

Taylor nodded back before sighing and looking away.

These actions didn't go unnoticed by Andrea who looked at both of them in scrutiny.

"I paid you fifty grand" Iris snapped at King.

"Yeah, the one you earned in my club" King rolled his eyes.

Iris sighed.
"I had a work function last night so I couldn't make it"

King walked close to the chair she sat on, he streched his hand a little to touch her hair.

Iris slapped his hands away aggressively, she glared at him.
"Do not touch me"

King chuckles.
"Alright mama, I won't touch you"

Iris looked at him suspiciously.
"What are you going to do to me then?"

"Get back to work and earn me some money" King walked back to his seat.

"Why did you ignore my question?" Iris asked.

Pixie walked in.
"Come on Iris"

Iris stood up, eyeing King, she was scared of what he is capable of doing to her.

King flashed her a taunting smile.
"You seem very reluctant to leave here, are you sure you don't want me to touch you?"

Iris glared at him before turning to follow Pixie out of his office.
