To say that Madi was getting better at training is an understatement Lexa could easily see that her daughter was advancing better than she ever had at the age of 6.

They had been training for only 4 days and the little brunette was amazing. She could easily read mother, she knew where she was going to strike next everytime.

They continued for a few more hours never getting tired until Clarke came to get them. Easily knowing where her girlfriend would take her daughter to train she walked that path she had only walked a few time before.

Coming up from behind both the brunette's she didn't make a sound and carefully watched as they trained, she watched as very attack Lexa made Madi blocked with ease. She was amazed at her daughter and how fast she was catching on to what Lexa was teaching her, it brought a smile to her face to see that they were connecting so well.

Taking a break to get water Clarke finally decided to make an appearance, " How's it going?"

Startled by the voice Lexa jumped and turned quickly only to find her girlfriend she calmed walking over with a smile on her face.

" She's even better than I was at her age." Lexa explained wrapping her arms around Clarke waist.

" Mmm maybe it's just because your the one training her."

" I doubt that. What's going on back home?"

Sighing Clarke wrapped her arms around Lexa neck and resting their foreheads together, " Nothing we were all just getting ready for dinner so I figured that I would come and get you guys."

Nodding her head Lexa picked up their equipment before making her way back to Clarke taking the blondes hand in her own they all started to walk back to camp.

The family was silent as they walked looking around the forest listening to the birds chirp. Madi would occasionally kick a rock seeing how far she could make it fly.

Making it back to their home they found mostly everyone around the fire, eating without them.

" Aww what you guys couldn't wait like an hour for me to get back with these two?" Clarke laughed as she made her way over.

" Look Clarke we were dying okay!" Raven dramatically replied without even swallowing her food before she started talking.

" Don't mind her Clarke she had two bags of berries while you were gone she's perfectly fine." Octavia rolled her eyes while explaining.

Setting down their things Lexa walked over to Clarke letting her know that she was going to help Madi change before they came and ate. Receiving a nod Lexa scooped up her daughter and continued her walk into their house as if nothing had happened.

Making her way in she easily threw Madi down on her and Clarke bed receiving a little giggle out of the girl.

" Okay you might as well get your pj's on now. You know mommy's going to make you go to sleep after your finished eating." Lexa said while walking over to where Madi's night clothes were.

" But Mamma can't you try and talk to her, ask her if I can stay up just a little later."

" Trust me little one going to sleep early isn't a punishment I wish I could go to sleep right as the sun set big I have duties that I need to fulfill. And besides I agree with your mother you need your sleep little one."

Making her way back over with Madi's cloths she helped her daughter undress before helping her with her night shirt, she laughed when Madi said she could do it by herself because she was a big girl but started whining when she got her arm stuck. Being a patient mother Lexa helped her daughter with ease.
