Raven slowly walked towards Clarke's cot seeing the blond with her eyes open staring into the ceiling with tear marks down her cheeks, Raven felt sorry for the girl but at the same time she was so happy for what was about to happen.
" Clarke, why don't you come outside there is something we have to show you?" Raven walked closer looking at Clarke, she didn't make a single sign of hearing her as Raven walked closer she could see dark bags under the girls eyes indicating she hadn't slept in a while.
"Clarke? Come on it will be real quick."
" Please just get out." Clarke said with a horse voice not looking at Raven.
" NO YOU'VE BEEN IN YOUR TENT ALL WEEK NOW GET YOUR ASS UP AND GET OUT OF HERE REAL QUICK!" Raven yelled walking over and grabbing Clarke's arm dragging her out of bed and out of the tent.
" Raven stop! Okay I don't want to be out here and nothing is gonna change that!" Clarke yelled starting to get irritated with the Latina.
" Not even if it's to see me?"
Clarke knew that voice she slammed her eyes shut and didn't turn around. this can't be real wake up wake up wake the hell up!
"Clarke turn around." Raven said walking closer to the blond.
" No because if I do no one will be there this is just a dream and I need to wake up, I can't see her face again! I see it every night I try to sleep its all I see Lexa here and Lexa there just wake up damn it!" Clarke was breathing heavily now trying not to cry.
" This is real she's here Clarke, please turn around." She heard Octavia say, finally deciding to face it she slowly turned around and there standing not even 10 feet from her was Lexa. The exact same way she remembered her too.
" Lexa?" How in the hell could this be her, slowly she took 2 steps tilting her head to the side like a puppy would do.
"Hello Clarke." Lexa said with a soft smile making her was over to Clarke, But suddenly something changed in Clarke's demeanor Lexa didn't know what happened but the next thing she knew the blond was charging at her with a mad expression.
" HOW DARE YOU, HOW DARE YOU LEAVE ME!" Clarke finally made it to her destination landing hit after hit to Lexa's chest letting out all of her anger. "HOW COULD YOU GO AND DIE AND LEAVE ME HERE ALL ALONE, I NEEDED YOU AND YOU JUST GAVE UP!" Getting out all of her anger as she sobbed and yelled at Lexa.
Lexa finally grabbed Clarke's hands and turned her around pushing her front to Clarke's back bringing them to a sitting position on the ground Lexa gently rocked them back and forth. " I know, I know Clarke I'm so so sorry for leaving you. I never meant to hurt you, you have to believe me I never meant to hurt you." Lexa rested her face in Clarke's neck allowing the girl to sob letting out all of her emotions she had, sometimes whispering sweet nothings into Clarke's ear, she would press light gentle kisses to her neck trying to sooth the crying blond. Looking up Lexa looked at all the people around then, as they stared with sympathy Lexa finally looked back to Clarke and started rubbing up and down her arms.
" Hey, come on why don't we go to your tent and get you some rest huh?" Lexa asked trying to get her and Clarke to stand when Clarke suddenly gave out a big whimper turning around in Lexa's arms straddling her waist with her arms hugging Lexa's neck tightly, Lexa wrapped her arms around Clarke's middle grounding them to the earth.
" It's okay your okay, I'm not leaving you Clarke not ever again, I promise." Lexa whispered moving her forehead to rest against Clarke's.
" Come on let go." Again Lexa tried to move but Clarke wouldn't let her. " NO! please don't just stay here with me, Please Lex." Clarke started to panic. " Okay its okay we can stay here we're fine." Lexa moved her head to the crook of Clarke's neck feeling Clarke do the same. They sat there for what felt like hours and it most likely was because the next thing Lexa knows is when she opens her eyes its night time and she can feel how Clarke's breathing has slowed down indicating she has fallen asleep. Slowly Lexa pulled back from Clarke exoculating a little whimper from her she softly picked her up bridle stile and carried her to her tent on the way giving Octavia a small nod.
Once she got to the tent she only saw one cot meaning she would have to share with Clarke, knowing the blonde would want her to anyways. Lexa slowly laid Clarke down removing her shoes then her own sliding under the covers she curled right up laying her right arm across Clarke's stomach and tangling their legs while resting her head in the crook of Clarke's neck again she let out a soft sigh just taking a moment to remember this and to remember the feeling of Clarke's body next to hers, to finally smell the vanilla in the blonds hair she was finally able to close her eyes and whisper a final sentence before falling asleep.
" I love you too Clarke, I always have and I can't wait to show you with every ounce of human in me that I do, and forever will."
Little did she know that the blond had heard every word she said that night and would hold her to what she said.
Authors Note: I know I know it's a short chapter but my Laptop is kinda broken right now so hang with me, hopefully it will be fixed by tomorrow and if it is there will be a longer chapter but hey.
