Chapter 10 : Zoldyck Butler

KIKYO ZOLDYCK'S POV:

                         "A woman??!" "Yes, my lady" "I demand you tell me more about her" "For her to open all the gates and to easily pet Mike is very impressive" "Pet Mike?" "Yes, the moment she entered the premises I alerted myself and Canary, after all, our priority at the moment is to protect the property and to serve you. Though, Canary didn't sense anything at all, leaving me alone to watch the intruder. I followed her very careful. Mike didn't attack her because of the rule, but still kept an eye on her; he followed her too. I guess she got bothered by the monster that's following her around. She mounted Mike and touched his collar; then suddenly, Mike sat in front of her obediently" Gotoh explained to me. "Oh! I'm curious!! Her appearance??!" "I am from afar so I can't tell her exact height; but I'm guessing she's 2-3 inches shorter to Illumi-sama. Again, I'm not sure about her facial qualities." "What a pity!! Gotoh, next time examine an intruder thoroughly!" "Yes Madam" "I sensed her aura earlier Gotoh, and it felt rather familiar" "Indeed, I felt it too. It felt like her aura got mixed up with the aura of the jester and Illumi-sama." "Illumi?!" "Yes Madam, Illumi-sama came from the exam to take back Killua-sama; they could have met there, perhaps an acquaintance?" "Or maybe a lover?!!" "I'm not sure about that Madam; we know how Illumi-sama is." Our talk ended with silence as I continued to drink my tea, which is until, we felt a spark of aura coming closely to them. "Gotoh! Do you feel that?? That's her! That's her! Oh I can't wait to meet her!"

3RD PERSON'S POV:

  

               "You are the butler that followed me right? Too bad, you kept your distance." Cheshire asked. "it is indeed I" Gotoh answered irritated. "So I have to deal with you next" Cheshire said in a stern voice. "Whatever do you mean by that? If you don't mind me asking" Kikyo asked amused by the visitor. Gotoh however, was taken by surprise by his mistress speaking; normally she would let him do the talking. "Someone told me the procedure of getting in; and base on it, I should be handling the butlers now since I passed the good dog." "I see; Gotoh!!" "Yes, Madam?" "Get the others and entertain our lovely guest. Gotoh bowed and made a signal. Butlers showed up in a blink of an eye. If Cheshire is not trained then maybe she will be shivering in her spot right now out of fear.

             All of the butlers circled her; she's right there, standing in the middle. They all attacked one by one; they seemed to be assessing her. She dodged all of the attack without even leaving her standing point. After all of their useless attacks; they're already catching their breaths. Obviously speaking, that's bad for them. They haven't even scratched her nor made her break a sweat.

             Gotoh stood next to her mistress looking annoyed; Kikyo however, looked very happy with what's happening. "Did you see how useless your attacks are?? What are your trainings for? Quickly, finish her!!" yelled Gotoh. They all nodded at the same time; which I truly find unnecessary for the situation they are in. They formed in a circle again, they seemed to have planned something. Cheshire stood their looking bored; she is wishing deep inside that whatever they are planning is amusing. To tell you the truth, she came here for Illumi and for the thrill.

            Back to their plan, they are attacking her at the same time now, in fact they are using all of their nen now. Something no one imagined happened though. They were about to attack her when they noticed that they can't move. Turns out, their feet is glued to the ground, with ice, might I add. They couldn't even speak when they noticed; after a few seconds their whole body stood there frozen like a stone. "How boring~ is that it? I thought you guys are going to entertain me?" Cheshire said playfully. "You froze them." "Speaking the obvious now, are we? Of course I did Gotoh, they're boring creatures anyways, right Mrs. Zoldyck?" "Indeed; your name little intruder?" "Cheshire" "Sounds rather familiar, your relationship with the jester?" "None of anyone's business" "And your business here?" Kikyo asked again. "Your oldest" "And your business with my oldest? Kikyo asked. Cheshire was silent.

CHESHIRE'S POV:

                  A woman in a puffy, extravagant dress with a hat. This must be Kikyo, the mother. The butler that I followed earlier is Gotoh. Good thing I followed him, he is the head butler and from what I knew I need to face the butlers. We chatted a little, small talk at people of this generation call it. After that, the head butler immediately called the other butlers because of the orders of his master. It's nothing I can't handle though, they all attacked me. At first, I dodged all of their attacks to tease them. But then, I started getting impatient and bored. Can't they do something amusing or surprising at all?? Without even lifting a finger, I froze their feet until it covered their whole useless selves.

              That's the technique that I always do when I'm fighting someone boring. I don't waste my time in moving. I kill them before they can even realize that they messed up their lives. Well, I got bored again and finished those butlers.

               That nen ability that I used is not my main and it's not mine either. How? Well, I have this ability where I can steal someone's ability. At first thoughts, one might think that it's the same as Chrollo Lucifer's ability; those are my thoughts too when I first discovered them. Quite the same but not exact. Chrollo's ability is stealing which is the same as mine but he needs something to store those stolen abilities; which is in his case, a book of some sorts. On the other hand, my ability don't need anything to hold the abilities. My body absorbs the power and my mind controls it and keeps it in place; whether to use it or not. So, there is a possibility that I can lose those stolen abilities if my body is very injured or my mind is too occupied. I won't be able to control it if that's the case,

             I finished those butlers and this leads to our situation now. Kikyo interrogating me. Her questions are fairly normal and are easy to answer. I skipped some though, I don't want to reveal so much of myself. Her last question made me froze in my place though. It's a simple question really, it's just that, I'm conflicted whether to tell her what I really am doing here for Illumi.

"Your business here? She asked

"Your oldest."

"And your business with my oldest?" she asked again.

"Marriage, Madam.....Marriage"
