Thomas wakes up in an endless white room, standing up as he starts to rub his head.

"Where the hell am I?"

"You are nowhere but everywhere at the same time." A voice calls out, soon revealing itself to be Dick Grayson, Doctor Fate, as the figure hovers above Thomas.

"Fate. Did you come here to say that you knew about this all along?"

"While I did, no, that is not my purpose. Your mortal life has come to an end, Wayne. And now you have the chance to take what you have left and make it into something special. You can go anywhere now for as long as you wish."

"But I'm guessing there is a catch."

"Yes. If you choose to move on to the spirit world, everything will be at your disposal, but wish to go somewhere in the mortal world, and only one will be able to see and interact with you for all of eternity. And when they die, nobody can see you."

He takes a second to think about it, an eternal decision being handed to him, but one that is not as easy to think about.

"I...I think I know what I want."

Fate nods as he opens a gateway, and Thomas steps through, light enveloping him as he vanishes.

Back in the mortal world, Rose stands at the computer in the Belfry. Cole texts her about the location and time of Thomas' memorial ceremony, as she just ignores it for now to try and get her mind off the whole thing. Crime hasn't changed at all, the scum of Gotham still treats it like a normal day even though the Batman is gone. They could've gotten worse, but Rose wishes they could've gotten better. Regardless it's a tough spot.

Harper eventually walks in and stands next to Rose, leaning up against her. "Hey...you know I've been thinking about something."

"Yeah, what's that?"

"I think back at the Manor...when Thomas handed you his cowl. I think he wanted you to be the next Batman. Or Batwoman I guess in this case."

"I know."

"You do?"

"I do. But I don't feel like I need it. Or I'm ready for it. It feels too soon for me to do something like that, he just died a few days ago. I don't want to take his legacy and drag it through the dirt."

"You won't, I know you won't. He knows you can be better he said it himself. You just have to believe in yourself, and I'll be with you every step of the way."

"Heh, you always know just what to say. I'll think about it. A big decision it is."

"That's all I needed to hear."

The two smile at each other before suddenly a crime alert come up about a sudden riot taking place in Gotham, as it seems people are just attacking each other out of no reason, no...there is a reason. They are attacking out of fear.

"Scarecrow."

Rose and Harper look at each other before suiting up as fast as possible, jumping out of the Belfry window and gliding off into the Gotham air as her protectors run out to save her yet again.

Thank you for finally reaching the end of Batman: Knight of Vengeance The Final Chapter

This project is the capstone to my old Knight of Vengeance show that I worked on a long time ago and never got the chance to finish and now that I did, I finally feel sort of complete. I'd like to thank my wife Alyssa for giving me some of the ideas to help keep my writer's block in check, my friends in my Discord server for showing interest in my show and keeping my own interest alive because of it, and to the great team behind Batman Purgatory, for which whom if that project didn't exist, I might not have had reason to make this one.

Thank you all really for taking the time to read this, and who knows, if enough interest is shown, maybe the saga can actually continue...
