Part V - Journey

"Roger that, Whitehare out."

Rose shuts off her comms as she turns to watch Harper deliver the final blow to Red Dart, the last of Richard Dragon's assassins that it seems decided to come and party with them.

"Seemed serious, was that Batman?" Harper says as she rejoins Rose over at the sidelines.

"Yeah, he came into a tumble at Arkham, he's fine, and he managed to rescue Ratcatcher."

"Oh? So that's why he contacted you."

"I don't think that's the only reason but it's probably part of it."

"I know you feel like you can change her, but don't you feel like it's a bit of guilt about Julia on your end that's causing this?"

"I've known Olivia for a long time before she became Ratcatcher, I feel obligated to try just for her."

"Well, you'll have plenty of time to think of that on the way."

Harper pats Rose's shoulder as they both saddle up on their bike, zooming off back into the streets as Rose goes back onto the comms channel.

"Hey guys, I think we're going to try and go through this in bigger numbers. Cole, Duela, Tim, meet me and Harper in front of Gotham Theater and we'll go over our new plan."

She sighs as she rests her head on Harper's shoulder as they continue to make their way through the streets towards the theater, her mind focusing on what she's going to do next.

"I know what you were trying to tell me earlier, Harper. You think that I should probably just let the system try and reform Olivia, right?"

"I feel like that's what might be best for both of you, and I'm just trying to look out for you Rose."

"I know, and I love you for it. I just don't want to feel like a failure."

"You won't be, and I'm not saying you have to return her to Arkham. Just return her to the system. Think on that while we work."

Eventually Harper and Rose arrive at Gotham Theater, with Cole, Duela, and Tim already their waiting for them.
