Chapter 23

Enala

It's been a couple of days since Arjun told me he was gay and ever since I haven't been able to sleep in peace. I've been constantly thinking about what to do for them, how to set them up.

Shawn doesn't know yet and I want to surprise him. I'm sure he'll die of a heart attack right there.

Shawn and Arjun! What a lovely couple they'll make. I ship it!

Considering Shawn doesn't know, I wanted to set him up on a blind date with Juno. Shawn is very corny and Arjun is classy. So whatever I chose has to be something the both of them would like.

This is hard!

When I was sick of brainstorming, I got up from my bed and slowly headed to Deepak's study. He was walking around the room with a folder in his hand and a glass of whiskey in his other. Yes he told me what the brown alcohol was called.

"Mister, why aren't you in bed?", I asked making him jump in surprise.

"Jeez Nala you scared me", he said looking down at me.

I stared at the glass in his hand planning on taking it but he kept it as high as he could and I didn't find the bottle anywhere outside as well. He knows my tactics now, party pooper.

I haven't told Deepak about Arjun yet. I'm not sure if he knows.

"I need your help big man", I said sitting in his chair and rotating.

"Yes tiny lady. What can I do for you?", He smirked sitting on the table in front of me.

I glared at him while he chuckled.

"I need to set someone up on a blind date. I need a good location", I explained to him.

"Who's going? Are you going? Isn't blind date an excuse? You're going on a date?", He threw questions at me.

I looked at him puzzled. Is he tipsy or doesn't he know what a blind date is?

I waved my hand in front of his face until he hend it and intertwined our fingers.

"You're not going on a date", he said furrowing his eyebrows at me.

"I'm not going. It's for someone else", I said.

"I know a place but I won't tell you. What if you go with someone else? No no I'm not telling", he said getting up and continued reading his file.

Is he jealous that I might go with someone else?

"You're so useless. I'll find one myself. I'm borrowing your laptop", I said annoyed.

"Go to my room. Sleep there tonight", he said looking up at me.

"No"

"Nala"

"Deepak"

He kept the file on the table and slowly walked towards me. It's become a daily sight for me to watch Deepak shirtless around the house, but everytime he walked towards me there's no stopping the butterflies in my tummy.

I gulped and stood like a statue. As he reached me, he placed his hands on my waist and pulled me closer to his chest.

"Sleep in my room please? I sleep well when you're there", he said placing his forehead on mine.

If he is being so sweet then how can I say no?

I nodded and went to his room, my heart beating fast. Fluffy was already asleep in his little dog bed and I made myself comfortable on his bed waiting for him to come. But when he didn't, I decided to sleep. I have to think of a good date idea for my one true pair.
