Enala

Looking at Deepak with all his teammates was a sight I'll never forget. He laughed, joked, goofed around and looked so beautiful. That constant smile on his face reminded me of what he was missing. Loving friends, a supportive coach, jolly teammates and more than that, a passion that burned inside him. His passion for cricket.

His smile shone like the sun on the brightest day, spreading light to the dark space he was in all this while. I never want him to go back to that. Not now not ever.

I wanted him to catch up everything he missed. I wanted him to gain everything he lost in these past years.

He deserves every beautiful thing this world has to offer.

So i decided to let him have this day with all his friends. I do own a cafe that I seem to be forgetting about now a days so I dressed up to leave.

I informed Deepak I'll be back with goodies and picked up his car key when Aria called out to me.

"Hold up Nala, I'll come along", she said.

Um..

But wouldn't she rather spend time here? I mean, why? Why come with me?

I looked at her and gave a small smile.

I can't say no, can I?

I looked back at Deepak who looked just as confused at me.

"Stay here na Ari. What are you gonna do at the cafe anyways?", He asked getting up from the couch to come to us.

"Nah I'll be bored among you guys", she said looking at me again.

I slowly nodded. "Alright. Come along", I said waving at deepak and leaving.

Aria followed me to his car and sat in the front. I slowly slid into the driver's seat and started driving towards the cafe.

Awkward silence.

So awkward that even the mighty Rahul won't be able to do anything.

Mighty Rahul? Geez where did that come from!

Ah I should make sure not to mention this in front of him. He already thinks he's the king of this universe. This will just add to his ego and I'll be the one having to deal with it.

Thinking about Rahul made me think of the incident in the morning. He fucking kissed Deepak. For what joy I have no clue.

It was Deepak's reaction that was amusing. He stood there like someone just said statue to him and then ran behind Rahul on being released.

Those two monkeys and the other two monkeys in love are the reason for all my happy days right now.

I chuckled thinking about how much my life has changed in the last few months.

"What happened?", Aria's voice got me out of my zone.

I completely forgot she was in here.

"Nothing, I was just thinking about something", I said still grinning from ear to ear.

"Tell meeeee. I'm bored anyways", she said placing her phone on her lap and turning towards me.

"Okay so, in the morning Rahul kissed Deepak", I said chuckling.

"WHAT!", She shrieked.

I nodded vigorously. "Exactly! Oh you should have seen it. It was gold", I said laughing as she joined me.

"Oh my god and then what happened", she asked still laughing.

"Deepak just froze. Like completely froze. Rahul looked satisfied, then Deepak ran behind him but as usual both of them tripped and fell", I laughed harder.
