Chapter 36

Enala

"Shreyas and Aria are coming home for lunch tomorrow". After saying this Deepak passed out leaving me to my thoughts.

As much as I want him to bond with his friends again, it's Aria that I'm worried about. We just got off our fight which was caused by her. She didn't do anything that would directly affect us but she was a huge part of Deepak's life. Infact she is the reason Deepak had to leave his life back in India. Now that she's coming back here again, I can't help but overthink all the possibilities.

Needless to say, I did not sleep well.

This was very sudden of deepak to make plans with them. If he would have told me a few days prior I would have mentally prepared myself for whatever it is to come.

It was 6 in the morning and I was still wide awake. Deepak was slightly snoring next to me. He's so adorable when he sleeps, but my mind was occupied else where.

When fluffy made his way into the bedroom, I quickly got up and picked him up, leaving the bedroom.

I made my way to the kitchen to make myself something to eat when Arjun entered the kitchen, rubbing his forehead.

"Argh! I think I drank a lot", he said rubbing his eyes.

"Hmm yeah maybe", I said turning around to make some eggs.

"Nals.. make me some coffee please", he said sitting on the kitchen counter. I nodded and went ahead to brew some coffee.

"Is something bothering you?", He asked while I was finding a mug for him. "No", I said adding some sugar to the mug.

"You would have yelled at me for drinking so much and asked me to make my own coffee. Something is definitely bothering you", he said getting off the counter.

"It's nothing Juno. You're hungover, so I don't want to annoy you", I said smiling at him.

"Nala bear don't hide anything from me. Tell me what's bothering you", he said coming closer to me and holding my wrists.

I took a deep breath and looked at Juno. His eyes were concentrating on my face. "Deepak told me shreyas and Aria are coming home today", I said.

"Oh"

Exactly!

"I don't know whose idea it was. I mean I'm completely okay with it. I'm actually really glad that he's talking to them. But I don't know how to react with Aria here. She was his first love. I don't know how to feel about that", I confessed leaning forward and hugging him.

"Aye nala bear, she might be his first love, but as far as I now he's completely in love with you now. Whole body and soul. He doesn't have his eyes for any one else. There's absolutely nothing you should be worried about", he said kissing my forehead.

I slowly nodded. "Thank you".

"Did he tell you when they are coming?", He asked as I poured his coffee to the mug.
I shook my head. "He said they'll he coming for lunch and then he passed out".

"Talk to him and ask him about it. You don't have to stay when they're here. You can go to the cafe. I'll drop you okay? Don't worry about it", he said sipping on his hot coffee.

I nodded and poured myself a cup as well.

While I was almost done with my coffee both Rahul and Deepak came into the kitchen. Arjun just gave me a look and nodded at me, leaving me to the both of them and returning to his room.

"Good morning gorgeous", said Deepak hugging me and burying his head in the crook of my neck.

"Good morning naluuu", screamed Rahul joining in on the hug.
