"It always gave me a good laugh to hear about other people's love life disasters, mostly stemming from their own stupidity. But as far as I know, I'm not one to be a fool. And yet here I am, with my own VERY UNFUNNY love life disaster that some bitches are having a laugh at. Oh, how the turn tables (Please get the reference)."
-초성민 (Cho Seong-Min)

"Love life disasters. They can't happen if you don't have a love life, unless there's someone you're really going to hell over. Then it's a problem. And it's your problem, because I have my own world-ending catastrophes to deal with."
-박진성 (Park Jin-Seong)

"I would've stayed at home, 'cause I was doin' better alone. But when you said, 'Hello' I know that was the end of it all."
-Dua Lipa, "Break My Heart"

Thursday, April 28th. "It's not a date. It's not a fucking date. It's just a... high school reunion. You know, that's all it is. Just two friends who parted ways after one of them decided to drop out."

"PFTTTT. Sure buddy. It's totally a date, you can't change my mind." Seong-Min was having yet another internal argument.

"This is a non-date, asshole."

"This is absolutely a date, moron."

"Shut up."

"Accept it."

She sighed. This isn't something she needs to be doing while on 5 hours of sleep, after laying awake thinking of all the ways she was gonna get back at Nari.

As Seong-Min walked into the building to begin another day of mundane work, groups of employees started grouping up, watching her and whispering. She paused.

"The hell you all staring at? Stop gaping like you're trying to catch a fly and go back to work." At Seong-Min's harsh tone, the groups quickly dispersed back to their individual spots.

She went to her own station to start on whatever assignment she was given today, when a girl who looked like she was fresh out of art school approached her, fiddling with her fingers like she was nervous. "Seong-Min eonnie..."

"What?"

"Oh, haha. Um, Nari eonnie was telling everyone about how-"

"Well you can go tell her to shut up."

"But eonnie, you haven't even heard what she was saying."

"I know what she was saying. And she should shut up."

The girl quickly blurted everything out. "Is it true that you're dating Park Jin-Seong?"

Deep breath in. Deep breath out. "Of course not. Go back to work."

She walked away and sat down and started actually discussing an upcoming animation project for work. Seong-Min liked her already. What was her name, Areum or something? Seong-Min opened up her email, only to see that she would be working in the same group as Nari, Areum, and three others on an animation pack for a new skin.

Great. She begrudgingly picked up her tablet and went to go join the others. "Oh, hi Seong-Min dongsaeng!"

"Hi Nari..."

"So, what's your relationship status, for real?"

"My relationship status is that you need to shut up, and we need to start working on this, because the whole animation pack needs to be submitted by Monday." A couple of the other artists winced at the "you're dead" glare Seong-Min was giving Nari.

The rest of the morning was all focused on starting the animations, and making all of the animations match in style despite having different animators for each. The group got quite a bit done, with the occasional annoyed look from Seong-Min whenever anyone made a comment about "relationship status" or "dating."
