A Cold Hearted Reaper (Jungkook X Reader)

On the Run

Before leaving the mall, we bought a few things. A few change of clothes and some shoes, considering we couldn't go back to the house.

I bought a few masks and hats, so as soon as we stepped outside I threw the hat on (Y/N)'s head and pulled the front down.

"Aye!"

I giggled a bit as she shot her body back up to look at me, smiling as I shrug.

"Here put this on."

I hand her a mask and she does what I told her to. I do the same throwing on a cap as well. We walk around cautiously. We had no idea where those men were so we had to keep ourselves sharp.

That's not really what I was thinking about honestly. I had forgotten about that. All I could think about was how short (Y/N) was right now.

"Like a little bunny."

She suddenly looks at me and my smile immediately drops.

"Uh. I said that out loud, didn't I?"

She scoffs and smiles.

"What's like a little bunny?"

I smiled and kept my mouth, looking away from her.

"Yah, hello?? Answer me"

She starts poking my arm. I try to hold in my chuckle as I pull out my phone. I changed her contact name to bunny and smiled.

"What's this?"

She snatched my phone and I panic.

"W-wait!"

She holds it away from my reach and looks at it.

"Bunny? Is this what you're talking about? OH MY GOD!"

She turns to my and I flinch back internally panicking. Oh fuck. She knows. SHE KNOWS!

"You have a crush on a girl!!"

What.

"Uh yes. Actually, I do."

Where did that come from? Why did I say that?

She smirked and gave me back my phone.

"That's cute. What a lucky kid."

I look at her face closely examining it. She looks kinda sad. And a bit jealous. Ahh, if only she knew.

"Well? What's she like?"

She turns to look at me her eyebrow raised. I smile to myself and look forward so I don't run into anyone.

"She's sweet. Really cute, you know? She's really selfless too, like fuck she's so cool! She could hit me and I'd thank her."

She started laughing.

"I'm serious! Her laugh is the cutest thing too. It just brings music to my ears. One of the purest laughs though. And her smile, god! So many people would fall for her if she smiled more. That's one of the first things I fell for."

I look down at her and she smiles to herself while looking at the ground.

"She sounds like a pretty girl."

"She doesn't think she is though."

She looks at me. Flashes come back into mind when I saw her looking at herself in the mirror. She was hesitant to look at herself in the mirror and when she did she sighed at herself.

She never noticed me but I saw it every time. She would avoid the mirror as much as possible and when she couldn't she'd never look in them.

I don't know why she does that. It's been bothering me. What does she see that the rest of us don't? That I don't?
