A Strange Feeling

I woke up in the living room portion of the warehouse. I sat up and looked around me to see everyone sleeping around the couch.

I checked the time. It was 4 AM. I heard footsteps from behind me and flinched only to find (Y/N)/

"Relax. It's only me."

She quietly walked over and sat down on the couch.

"Why are you awake?"

I rubbed my eyes. I heard her chuckle then clear her throat.

"I couldn't sleep."

I pushed my arms behind me to brace as I sat up more.

"Why? Is something on our mind?"

She scoffed slightly and stared off. I stared at her waiting for an answer. She suddenly looked at me.

"Whats on YOUR mind?"

I raised my eyebrows, being caught off guard.

"Huh?"

"You must be stressed, having to deal with all of this and the paranoia and anxiety."

I took a deep breath.

"You're anxious. Your medical records show you're fairly healthy, no mental issues like that at all yet..."

She rested her elbows on her knees to get closer to me.

"You're anxious recently. It's because of what's happening isn't it?"

I didn't want to look at her. It was kinda embarrassing especially since she's been dealing with this for so long now. Out of the corner of my eye she ducks her head to get a better look at my face.

"You're scared."

I turn my head to look away. How... embarrassing. I suddenly felt a hand on my chin. She turned my head to look at her. My heart started beating really fast. She pulled her hand back, keeping her eyes locked with mine.

She softly smiled at me.

"I'm sure the story about Noah didn't reassure you much at all."

She leaned back onto the couch.

"Do you blame them?"

She looked at me as I gestured to the other three members of her group. She smiled and shook her head.

"Not at all."

"Do you blame yourself?"

Her expression saddened. My eyes widened.

"I-I'm sorry! You don't"

"Yeah."

I stopped talking and stared at her. She took a deep breath and looked up at me.

"Yeah, I do blame myself. I shouldn't have left the warehouse without securing their safety."

"I don't think it's your fault."

"It is. I skipped the precautions for that day. If I hadn't done that, I would've seen that they were outside waiting for me to leave. It really should've been me."

I studied her expression and her figure. The way she was sitting. The way her hair flows on her head.

"Jungkook.."

I was snapped out of thought.

"Y-yes?"

"You understand why I'm so urgent to get you back to normal lives right?"

I opened to speak but nothing came out. She sighed.

"I hope you guys understand. Maybe not now, but eventually."
