You catch him singing

You had just finished sending all of the variants to their cells, it had been a long day in the time variance authority. While you checked everything off the list you heard miss minutes call your name. You turned around to see who was there "down here sweetie." She said. You looked down and smiled. "Hey Mz minutes." You said. "It's miss minutes sweetheart, not Mz." She corrected. "I know." You winked. Making her laugh. "You really listen to a lot of that music huh?" She said. "What can I say I love rock n roll." Miss minutes rolled her digital eyes and smiled. She then raised her arms up like a little kid wanting to be picked up. You bent down and opened up the palm of your hand, she hopped onto your hand and you raised her up to eye level so you could best see her.  You had to admit her little hops were so cute.

"Everything is done miss minutes, I was just heading to bed." You told her. "You did an excellent job today y/n, I'm proud of you. And by the way that's not what I came to ya for." She said, being a bit mischievous. "I caught one of your variants singing." She whispered. You raised an eyebrow. "Really? Which one?" You asked, setting her back down. "Follow me" she said, hopping down the hall like a bunny. Which was honestly so adorable. Why she did that all the time you had no idea.

She led you to Loki's cell, where you heard a voice singing in perfect harmony. You gasped a bit. "See? I told ya." Said miss minutes. "He's been singing for a while. I wonder why?"

You felt a slight emotion when you heard the song, it was a song you taught Loki about when you had first met him on earth.

     Dear agony, just let go of me.
     Suffer slowly, is this the way it's gotta be..

You opened the door to the cell and went inside, "hey whatcha doing? Y/N?!" Miss minutes whispered. You listened to Loki sing, he walked around while singing and every now and then singing with a photo in his hands. Or a holographic image that appeared in his hand when he used his magic.

"Suddenly the lights go out" you sang softly.

"Let forever drag me down, I will fight for one last breath."

"I will fight until the end, and I will fight the enemy within, cause I can feel it crawl beneath my skin"

You and Loki sang in perfect harmony, when he realized it was you that joined him in singing he didn't stop you. He kept on singing with you until the song ended.

"You remembered?!" You said. Loki smiled. "How could I forget?" He replied. "God had you not been here I would have let you join my band, we would tour together." You said, making him chuckle.

"Ahem, come on y/n, let's go." She said. You had no choice but to leave, but before you did you gave Loki a note with something on it. Then left the room with miss minutes. When Loki opened the note and read it a smile came to his face.

He knew the next time he sees you, he will never have to leave you again.
