Chapter 12- Brooklyn

After lunch I went up and had a shower changing into an outfit Clint had got, he said about going shopping soon so I wouldn't have to keep worrying. I put on the short yellow sundress, it was not my style but just for around the compound I did not mind he also got me shoes to match with the yellow lace wrapping around my legs upwards till it reaches my thighs if I liked bright colours I would think it was really pretty.

Clint had always tried to get me to wear more colours.

Two knocks hit the door as I finish towel drying my hair "come in!" I shout and I smile when I see little Morgan "Mia!" she runs over holding onto a bunch of flowers and I easily pick her up "have fun at the park?" I ask with a smile "I kept asking dad for you to come but he said you couldn't come so he said we could pick out some flowers for you instead" she says handing me the bouquet of different coloured Lillis "they are beautiful thank you so much!" I say "it's the largest bouquet of flowers I have ever owned" these must have cost a fortune "Morgan I told you not to go in without me-!"

"Wow" Tony stops at my door eyeing me up and down looking at the dress "thank you for the flowers" I smile smelling them "they smell and look amazing"

"Just like you" he says coming over he places a kiss on my forehead looking down at my body then back at me. Everything was not okay between us and he was definitely using the fact Morgan was here to his advantage but it was nice to see this side of Tony but I would also be lying if I said I wasn't enjoying it.

I can feel that he was genuinely happy through the mark and I hope we can talk about last night as Wade said before 'you cant pick your mates' so I should try and work it out.

"Morgan wanted to come and say goodbye before Pepper comes to pick her up" Tony explains and Morgan frowns "I want to stay here longer with Mia" she says hugging me and I smile "well your welcome to come and see me any time" I tell her as she still sat on my waist "Really!?" she asks with a smile "of course as long as your mum and dad are okay with it I could never say no to you" I say rubbing my nose against hers making her giggle "hear that dad?" Morgan smiles and her dad nods smiling patting his hands to take her off me but she shakes her head no "please come down with me?" she asks me and I look at Tony to make sure that it is okay.

"I see how this is" Tony jokes again placing his arm around my waist he begins walking us out so we can go meet Pepper in the living room. As we get in the lift Tony touch get tighter on my waist making me blush a little as I thought of earlier on the couch.

"Mia are you okay you are looking really red?" Morgan asks drawing attention to me only makes me blush more "I am okay" I tell her but as she raises her hand to touch my head but Tony beats her to it touching my head "you are a little bit warm when Morgan leaves we will go down to Banner" he says "Banner is here?" I ask surprised I assumed he went with the others if not I would have made him breakfast and Clint did not bring him any lunch not that I saw anyway.

Now I think about it I never really see Bruce around.

The doors opened revealing Pepper standing talking to Clint who looks at us his eyes searching over the outfit he picked for me with a grin.

"Mummy!" Morgan says holding out her arms Pepper takes her from me "did you enjoy your day?" she asks Morgan who grins "Mia is perfect! she is so nice and so pretty and she cooks the best-" she goes on making me blush a little I never did well with compliments "you are getting redder" Tony says concerend filled his voice quietly not to disrupt Morgan talking "I am really okay" I say but Clint looks me over.

Pepper catches on "thank you so much it sounds like she had loads of fun today" Pepper says smiling at me "any time she was the sweetest" I tell her and Pepper nods back "We will be of now but I hope to see you soon Mia" she says "say goodbye Morgan" she says placing Morgan on the ground she says goodbye to Clint then Tony "goodbye Mia I cant wait to see you again soon!" she says giving me a hug and I return it "goodbye lovely to meet you both" I say to both her and Pepper who then smiles walking to the lift Tony follows letting them out.
