Y/N'S POV:

"Historia is adopted!!" Pastor Nick shouted. We are currently in an interrogation meeting trying to investigate the fake royals that are seating in the throne right now. We found out something that didn't quite matched up their story. I know Hange, the Commander and my lover, is getting impatient; her glasses are not in their right places again; instead, it is placed in her forehead. She got up from her seat and cornered Pastor Nick. "What do you mean?? All this time you fooled us again!" she yelled at him, her body shaking in fury.

"I'll tell you the truth that I know! The real royal is casted away because the late queen wanted to protect her eldest daughter at that moment. They said that she was sent in the underground community. Historia however, is from a family in Shiganshina. They assassinated her whole family just to adopt her and to protect the secret." Nick explained. "Tch; can you explain then as to why Historia has the same genetics and abilities like the royals? She almost became the founding Titan." Levi interrogated further. "The founding Titan at that time revised her genes, that's why. That's all I know, so please leave me alone now."

All of this confusions are happening. I wonder how Historia feels after knowing the truth. I glanced at her, she's in the middle seat, sadness overtaking her eyes. Everyone really forgot that she is seating here with everyone. It's like she became invisible. "I'm leaving the throne then." She said lowly, no one really expected her saying anything so they're quite shocked. "You are not leaving the throne until the truth surfaces and we find our queen. You will only cause fear, confusion and chaos to the people if you leave right now." Although, I know that she's getting hurt from the situation and she wants to leave the throne; I need to tell her that because our problem will be multiplied if she leaves now.

"We are going to investigate this immediately. No information from this meeting will surface or will be out to the people. If someone even gossips about this, expect a punishment. Meeting dismissed!" Hange informed everyone.

I wonder if I ever met the royal during my life in the underground. I lived there until I was fifteen, which is when I decided to leave that hell-hole. Rivaille and his friends were the ones who helped me out. They were caught by Commander Erwin at that time. I literally just tagged along them;m they were actually planning to kill Erwin but soon got close anyways.

Commander Erwin became a father figure to me. He placed me in Hange's team, saying that my wits and skill will help Hange with all of the experiments and plans. At first, she just saw me as an embarrassment and a brat in her team, but still, we got close. Things happened in one of our expeditions; this is when we lost the Section Commander of the other team. Erwin assigned me as the new Section Commander in that team, because he can't see anyone suitable to step up but me.

Hange and I soon realized our feelings for each other. That is also the reason as to why our group always teams up whenever we're in an expeditions. We understand each other so much whenever we're in a battlefield. We got together and helped each other in times of need. As disappointing as it is, Erwin left us; she then stepped up as the new Commander. The rest is history I guess.

Rex, the investigator that our team hired to investigate deep; came back after three weeks of searching. He came to us breathless and surprised. We immediately arranged a meeting with everyone. I helped Rex prepare for the meeting and he was acting strange around me. It was like he is scared or something? I pushed the thought aside since he might be scared because of what he found.

"It is the Dolce family that adopted the missing royal: he looked at me while he said these words. Something might be wrong, I am the only kid who lived with the Dolce underground. "I found out that the royal left the underground years ago and she is now trained to join the scouts. Which means, she's with us right now." Rex is still glancing at me while saying this. Is he saying that it's me?? "Just tell us who it is!" Hange pushed.

"It's the current Section Commander Y/N" Everyone looked at me. "I don't know anything like this. This is utterly impossible, maybe you are just mistaken." "I am not mistaken, I made sure everything is right when I left, check the details in the files if you want to see it for yourself."

The meeting was dismissed fifteen minutes ago. They planned to tell the people the truth tonight and the official ceremony for the throne is going to be held tomorrow. Everything is happening so fast. Everyone is shocked too.

I stayed in my office pondering about what to do. Obviously, I won't be able to fight Titans like I used to before. I will have a lot more problems and responsibilities as a queen. And Hange, what will happen to our relationship? I don't want to leave her.

HANGE'S POV:

It's 2 am in the morning and I am in front of Y/n's office. What am I doing here? Well, I can't sleep and I thought of something crazy. I will propose to her. Yes, marriage. That's what I thought. After all, a queen can choose who she wants to be with and the ceremony will be held tonight. Which means I still have time to propose. I just need her to say yes.

I knocked on her door, said my name and business. I didn't even stepped inside, she already tackled me with a kiss. "Hange I-" "Are you okay with all of this ?" "I'm not sure. I don't want to leave you Hnage." "Then don't; we still have a way." "What is it, I'll do anything for you." "Marry me?" "what?" "Marry me Y/n? It's the only way to be together"

Everything happened so fast. Well, I guess I'm not that surprised; we sacrifice ourselves everyday fighting for humanity. Weird things happens every time.

It's funny how we dragged Pastor Nick out of hiscell and how we ordered him to marry us that instant. I must admit that wescared him a bit so he'll do it fast. In a middle of a war, confusions aboutthe royals... but sure as hell we got married that morning. At five in the morningthe queen became my wife.
