Y/N'S POV:

"Y/n, where should we go?" my commander said, or girlfriend if you may. "What do you mean by that?" I asked chuckling. "Let's go on a date, I want to spend more time with you, so again, where do you want to go?" "I don't have any place in mind right now, oh wait, does that mean that this commander right here doesn't have any plans in mind? This is the first time I saw you without a plan." I kept on a straight face as I try to tease her. She's so cute when she's blushing, especially knowing that she's only like this whenever she's with me or she found something interesting about science. "You silly girl, of course I still have plans. It's just that I'm hesitant about it, I'm not certain if you'll like it" she answered. "You know that I'm not picky about these things, let's go with your plan. It's probably amazing anyways."

We didn't directly go to the place she's saying, instead, we stopped by a dress shop in Wall Rose. Turns out, she already bought me a dress for tonight. The dress fitted me perfectly as if it is made just for me. "I didn't just buy it for you; I had them made it just for you and not for anyone that comes to this store." I got surprised by what she said, is she a mind reader or something? This piece of clothing must cost a lot,, now I feel guilty for using her money.

After I got dressed, we headed to the one of the most expensive restaurant, of course, still in wall Rose. This is truly beyond my expectations, now I understand why she us all dressed up from head to toe. In all honesty, everything feels so extravagant; this is my first time going in a higher class like this because I am from the underground. We ate and chatted for some time, we didn't even realized that dessert is about to be served. My first bite of the dessert, tasty? Delicious? Savory? However you can describe it. I can tell that we're both enjoying it, that is, until the waiter said something to Hange. Hange excused herself for a moment and head out. After a minute or two, she came back, stressed look on her face.

"Y/n, I'm sorry but we need to go, the Marleyan's made a small attack at the docks and we are needed there. For now, you can be excused and just wait in the barracks or you can go with me to the main site of the attack" she said. "I'm staying in the barracks, there are probably some civilians and some of our squad mates that are injured or affected. I'll help them out in the clinic" I replied. She nodded at me and quickly ran out to go to the site.

Our first date....Our first date in two years of relationship turned out like this. Ever since Erwin died, ever since she became the commander; we never had a complete time for each other anymore. Well, a commander's work never ends I guess. I understand her work because I am in the squad too, different ranks though. When we started seeing each other, she's just my squad leader and I'm her soldier. Now, she's my commander. Soon enough, she transferred me to a different team. The main objective of my new squad is to protect the island, the people and to help the injured; we're a little bit of a medical team I guess. I want to fight alongside Hange and the Levi squad but she always says no. she said explained that this is her way of protecting me from the main impact of the war between Eldians and Marleyans.

Two months have passed. Hange became busier to the point that we can't even talk for days. She doesn't sleep that much either. I'm worried about her, her smile vanished, and her joyous aura seemed to disappear like a bubble. That's why; I visit her from time to time.
