Zhan even felt worse when he woke up from his sleep. Him and Yibo were thinking of ways on how to rekindle the relationship of the father and son. At the breakfast in the dining hall, Sect leader Ouyang expressed how he was displeased by what happened and even thinking of cutting ties with the Lan sect because of what happened.

Zizhen strongly disagreed and even stood up from his father which made the Sect leader's temperament more worse.

"Zizhen... let us handle this. " Zhan said and reached out for Zizhen's hands.

Zizhen's eyes were puffy and red when he looked at Zhan. He can't help but show his sadness and before he could burst into tears he ran away from the dining hall.

The juniors went after him and left the adults in a very uncomfortable situation.

The disciples who was eating with them were dismissed by the sect leader.

The sect leader sighed the moment the three of them were left alone.

"I know that you probably want me to make up with my son.. i will do that eventually. But for now, i want him to recognize his mistakes. His life is very important for our clan and if something happens to him no one would continue the lineage of the Ouyang clan. " the sect leader calmly said, sorrow if visible in his wrinkled face.

"We understand " Yibo answered.

"If possible, even if your son has done something wrong, educate him with words and not with your hands, i know we don't have a say in how you take care of your son, but just be thankful that he doesn't hold grudges against you. " Zhan said.

" I know.. it's was all my rage acting up. I never wanted to hurt my precious son... He's all that i have.. I have a request that i would like both of you to do.. it's all for his safety. "

Yibo and Zhan looked at each other, Zhan felt cold and nervous as if he knew what the Sect leader was going to say next.

"Please tell us. " Yibo.

The sect leader cleared his throat and looked at the both of them as if he was still deciding whether he would tell them or not.

"Please pardon me for what I'm about to say.. but it would be best if you all stop hanging out with my son. "

"Father no! " They heard as Zizhen came running in, the juniors came running after him.

"My decision is final Zizhen! This is for you! "

"I don't wan– "

"Zizhen.. " Zhan called which made Zizhen stop from arguing with his father.

"S-Senior Wei. "

Zhan motioned him to come closer and Zizhen obliged, the Juniors were watching them with heavy hearts.

They were all thinking why did this have to happen?

When Zizhen was standing in front of Zhan and Yibo. Zhan can't help but hug Zizhen.

"Don't cry.. listen to your father, accept your mistakes and learn from it. All we want for you is to be safe Zizhen. I know you're a brilliant kid and you know the difference from what's right and wrong, in the future i hope we see each other again, i would like to see you again.. be safe Zizhen. "

" S-Senior Wei.. " Zizhen sobbed as he cry on Zhan's shoulders.

Yibo patted his head " Don't be sad, our parting is only temporary, we will surely see each other again. "

Zizhen nodded and dried his tears before smiling sadly at the two of them, then he looked at his father who was watching with awe, he was now thinking if he made the right decision.
