Chapter 10

"So Where are we going?" I asked Nathan for like the fifth time since we have gotten in the car.
"Christy relax. You'll love it okay" he said putting his hand on mine.
Relax okay I think I can do that right relax. And so that was what I tried to do I tried to relax it was quite hard since the baby wouldn't stop kicking my stomach.
"Hey um Nathan" I told him
"What's up"
"Can we stop somewhere I need to us the bathroom" I said since the baby started kicking at my bladder causing me to want to pee really bad.
"yeah hey look there's a McDonald's I'll stop here" he said turning the corner and stoping at the McDonald's. I quickly got out once he put the car in park and header into the bathroom.
"Please let there not be a big line" I said opening the women bathroom door and thank goodness there wasn't I headed to the stall and finally got to pee. Ever since I've been pregnant I have never had to go to the bathroom so much.
Once I finished I headed back to the car.
"Okay we can go now" I told Nathan putting my seatbelt on.
"Okay" he said turning the car back on and driving of to were ever he is talking me.
The whole ride there I was thinking what is my baby going to look like me or Nathan or a mixture a both maybe he will have Nathan's eyes lips nose and my hair or maybe it would be the opposite. But then I also started to wonder what if Nathan doesn't stay in my life like he said he was what if he decided to leave me I can't get to attached to him.
"Hey you okay?" Nathan asked I turned to him.
"Yeah why?" I asked him.
"You've been staring out at your window for the past 20 minutes and you haven't complained about us being there yet" he informed me wow he really did pay attention to me.
"Yeah I'm fine just thinking" I told him rubbing my stomach.
"Have you thought about any names yet?" He asked.
I gave him a smiled "No not yet. Have you?" I asked him.
"I actually have as surprising as that sounds" wow Nathan has actually thought about names for our baby.
"Really so what are they?"
"Will I was thinking made Zachary" he said
"Zachary" I told smiling at him.
"What do you think about it" he said
"Hmmm it's not bad" I told him.
"Will should we name him Zachary" he told me. I nodded he gave me a big smile.
We pulled up to a big house these was not his house.
"Ummm where are we?" I asked him
"Will I have decided that it's time for you to meet my parents" he said and that hit me like a ton of bricks.
"Your parents. Your kidding me right they're not going to like me just look at me" I told him he's face changed he went from being happy to angry and upset.
"What they say about you won't change the way I feel about you. They need to know that they are going to be grandparents they need to get us to the fact that you are not going to leave my life it is my responsibility as a father to take care of the baby and you" he said grabbing my hand then putting it on my stomach. We pulled up at the gate and it opened for us to enter. The house was huge it was like a freakn mansion I swear rich people and there big houses seriously why do you have such a big house I would be just fine with a house that is just the right size for my family I don't need so many rooms if it means I'm going to be lonely.
Nathan pulled up at the front of the mansion the front door opened right when Nathan turned off the engine off the engine of the car.
"Oh my baby" a women greeted him in a hug as he got out of the car.
"Nice to see you again mother" he said as he returning the hug and walking over to my side of the door.
"Oh who did you bring with you is it Stacy" she asked. Nathan opened my door and gave me a hand out. His mother just stared at my stomach.
"Hello I'm Karen Nathan's mother and you are?" She asked extending her hand to me she looked about 45.
"I'm Christy Nathan's ummm..." I said not really knowing what we were.
"She's my girlfriend mother" Nathan said wrapping a hand around my waist.
"And your expecting?" She said
"Yes these is why we came to inform you that we are having a child" he said man he was just straight forward with everything.
" I think you should tell you father about these. But congratulations baby it was about time I got some grandchildren. Welcome Christy to the family" she said hugging me. Boy was I surprised on how nice she was. We walked inside the house was beautiful I take back the thing I said about a mansion I wouldn't mine one now they are beautiful.
"Your father is in his office if you want to go and talk to him" Karen said walking us toward the living room.
"Just tell him we will wait for him in the living room" Nathan said and by the sound of his voice he didn't have a great relationship with his father. I took a hold of his hand squeezing it letting him know that I wasn't going to leave that I was going to be there for him. He looked at me giving me a little loving smile.
"Son nice to see you" a voice filled the living room we both turned to the voice who was calling after Nathan. There stood a man who had to be about 55.
"Father" Nathan said standing up and helping me up to my feet as will.
"These is Christy" Nathan said pointing over to me I extended my hand and hope his father just stared at me. I put my hand back to my side trying to play it off cool.
"Listen I don't have time for you to be a jack ass dad. I came here to inform you that you are going to be a grandfather" Nathan said his voice sounded bitter very very bitter I didn't even know who he was at the moment.
"Is the child even yours Nathan look at her she could be using you for your money for all we know" he father said. I who does he think he is jerk he doesn't even know me and he thinks I'm using him for money please as if.
"Trust me father she does not want any of my money I can assure you that." Nathan spit back.
"Please I doubt that" he's father said
"Listen here mr. I don't give a fuck i I'm not going to come here and be judge by an old prick like you. You know I thought that Nathan was the biggest ass when I first meet him but you know what he isn't, and as hard it is for me to realize that he actually want to be a part of our babies life I couldn't be anymore happy. Yes these was a mistake us getting pregnant but there is nothing we can do by grow up and take care of these child. I don't expect you to like me because let's be honest here a rich asshole like you doesn't respect any who is lower class your pathetic" I told him I was done I was angry and I just wanted to leave these is exactly why I hate rich people. I looked at Nathan and let go of his hand I got my bag and walked out. How can they be so pathetic his mom even should me some respect and would have thought she would be the one to hate me but it turns out it was the dad instead. I just want to go home I don't want to deal with these right now I shouldn't be stressing out about he these but he just got under my skin. While I was outside I started walking around they had a really pretty garden by the entrance so I went to go get a better look at them. I was looking down at the Lily's admiring there beauty.
"Are you okay?" I heard a women's voice say I knew who it was it was Karen.
"Yeah I'm fine" I said continuing to look down at the flower.
"Lily's have always been my favourites actually named my first daughter that" Karen explained to me.
"They are very beautiful" I told her.
"Darling come with me" she said talking a hold of my hand and talking me to the backyard. It was huge and beautiful there was a bench in the of the garden she had in the backyard.
"Honey. There's really no easy way to say these really." Karen started
"But are you really using my son for his money?" She asked. Of course why did I not guess that she was going to ask me that.
"Listen Karen I don't want any of his money. I never did if you think I'm pregnant because I want his money you are wrong I don't. I never have I cant stand Nathan but at the same time I never want to leave him but I would never use him for his money. " I told her she smiled
"I really like you. Welcome my dear child and you too baby" she said putting a hand on my growing stomach.
"What are you having?" She asked
"A boy" I told her and she smiled doing a little happy dance.
"I know Nathan's first child was going to be a boy. Have you guys thought of names" she asked
"Will Nathan thought of Zachary " I told her smiling.
"That's wonderful" she said "you will be a great mom it's not easy but you will enjoy every moment of it. " she said giving me a hug and a kiss of the cheek she was such a lovely lady to bad her husband was a piece of shit.
"Christy. Oh god I found you I thought you left." Nathan said walking toward us
"No will your mom kept me company" I said looking over at Karen who smiled at me
"Thanks mom we should get going" he said walking over to me and his mother.
"Yeah it's going to be a long drive back. Thank you Karen for the lovely talk I will see you soon" I told her as we both got up the bench
"Yes dear I will call you guys soon and have a safe trip back" she said hugging me then hugging her soon. Nathan and I walked back to his car. He turned on the engine and reversed the car out of the driveway.
"I'm sorry about my dad" he finally said
"It's okay. I understand just look at me no wonder he said that" I said looked down
"Hey" he stopped the car putting his hand over my chin making me look at him.
"I don't care about your class I never have I don't care about the way you look all I care about is that you make me want to be a better person happy you make me feel so different so a live and I don't ever want to let you go" he says looking into my eyes.
"Would you hate me if I kissed you" he whispered giving me a hug smile. I laughed and look down then back up at him.
"No I was actually hoping you would do that" I told him. He leaned in putting his warm lips on mine it has felt like forever since we have last kissed and I missed the feeling he gave me when we kissed the butterflies in my stomach. Nothing could explain how he made me feel. He pulled away and looked me in the eyes smiling.
"So what do you say about being my girlfriend since I really like you and I I'm not going to leave you alone" he said playing with my fingers
"Will boyfriend I would actually like that" I told him smiling I probably looked like an idiot but at these moment I didn't even care I was happy right now and nothing could change it.
