"Knight Y/N! Acting Grandmaster Jean wishes to see you!" said Klaus as you just sighed. This was your free time today but you had no choice, orders are orders

"Alright I'm coming" you said as you got up from your seat in Angel's share

"I'll see you later" said Kaeya with a wave from his left hand as his other hand was holding a wine bottle. "Be sure to save some dandelion wine for me, eye-patch" you said to the cryo user.

The cryo user just chuckled at your nickname for him. "Don't take too long, you slacker" he replied as you playfully rolled your eyes at his nickname towards you

You and Kaeya were best friends, almost like siblings (a/n: sibling zoned 😭). Ever since you guys met, you immediately became friends. You guys had gotten along so well, it even shocked the knights of Favonius - especially jean- (since she was used to kaeya working alone and not having friends)

You opened the door, leaving Kaeya inside the bar and going to meet Jean

Your mind was wandering into thoughts. 'Why does Jean want to see me? Especially at my break? She never does this unless something has happened...'

Your thoughts broke off as you reached Jean's door. Your hand reached the doorknob, twisting it and making the door automatically open, showing Jean

"Ah, Y/N you're here" Jean said with a little smile. You just smiled back at the acting grandmaster. "So Jean, what's up? It's best if you make it quick though, my break is still on" you said playfully a bit

The Grandmaster chuckled a bit and in an instant, Jean's expression turned from the loving, caring grandmaster to the serious, strict grandmaster

You obviously noticed it, immediately telling yourself that this is no time to joke around. "There has been Hilichurls spotted in the whispering woods many times. I want you to clear this situation off and report back to me"

Your serious face got out from you as you let out a deep exhale "You got me worried for a moment when I saw your serious face" you exclaimed

"But, can't Lumine and Paimon do this? After all, it is my break and I don't want to leave kaeya drunk. Who knows what he'll do.." you continued, muttering out the last sentence

"The traveler and Paimon are in liyue and plus, you take hilichurls out fast" Jean said with a tiny smirk.

"Alright got it. Anything else?" you said to jean. "I think that's all" Jean said, going to sit at her chair

"Ok I'll take my leave" you said as you left her office. To be honest, you were really worried when Jean called you in her office with her serious expression. You honestly thought that something bad happened

"Thank barbatos nothing bad happened" You muttered as you went to the whispering woods

As you were walking in the whispering woods, you couldn't find any hilichurls. "Did jean pull a prank on me? Nah, she wouldn't know how to. If so, I congratulate her for that" You said, giggling at the thought of Jean trying to prank someone

You kept walking and walking until you found them. "There they are" you said, smirking a bit. You found a man with a black cloak next to the hilichurls

'Alright. 5 hilichurls and with a man that they kidnapped. This is gonna be a piece of cake'

The hilichurls also noticed you and stood up. You went closer to them and said these words before fighting

"Lets have fun, shall we?" 

you said with a smirk as you pulled out your sword and fought the first hilichurl. As you were fighting him, 2 hilichurls appear behind you with torches

You activated your anemo vision, giving you a boost as you did a plunge attack, making the 3 of the hilichurls dead

'3 down, 2 more to go' you thought as the remaining hilichurls appeared with a bow and arrow on their hands. One of them shot an arrow at you, making you growl at them

"It's just you and me now boys" you said as you activated your ultimate attack

The wind felt intense like a tornado was gonna come. Your sword had anemo energy around it, causing it to look like an aura as you went closer and closer to them

"Looks like this is goodbye, what a shame~" you said before killing them with a slash of your sword.

The wind was calming down and the anemo energy from your sword left

You went towards the man in the black cloak. "Are you ok sir?" You said with a smile and lending your hand towards him but he didn't say anything

"Sir? Are you ok?" You said before you felt your vital points being touched, causing you to fall down

'Damn it.. I shouldn't have let my guard down' You tried to get back up but no luck. Your eyelids somehow felt heavier

"Nighty Nighty~" was the only thing you heard from the man as you went unconscious

             If I hadn't left my guard down, I wouldn't have been here in the first place..
