It was a normal day in angel's share and it was Diluc's turn to look after the tavern tonight. He was currently drying a wine glass and putting it back into its usual spot

'Where's Y/N and Kaeya? They would usually be here by now' The bartender thought. The door opened and Diluc turned around, thinking it was the two goofballs but it was just normal customers

"Hello Master Diluc! Red wine please!" The customer said as DIluc sighed. "Coming right up" He replied as he gave him the wine

A few hours have passed and there was neither Y/N nor Kaeya to be seen. The tavern was about to close and Diluc thought he could check up on his 'Brother'

Diluc locked the tavern door and went to go talk with the Bluenette man and the h/cnette  girl

Diluc knocked Kaeya's office door, but no answer. He then just gave himself permission to enter and his eyes slightly widen on what he was seeing

There were papers everywhere. Not just his desk, but on the floor as well. There were pictures on top of the wall with a string connecting each of them and there he was

Diluc then saw Kaeya, without that fancy suit (?) he was used to wearing it as it was on his chair. His ponytail was not smooth, but messy as Kaeya didn't even notice the door opening, due to him focusing

"Never in my years of existence have I saw you work like this" Diluc said, leaning on Kaeya's door as he smirked a little

This broke Kaeya's train of thoughts and glared at the red- haired man dangerously. "I don't know who let you in but if you're here to tease me in any type of way, i suggest you do that outside" Kaeya said

Kaeya's new attitude shocked Diluc. "Where's Y/N? I need to talk to her" Diluc said.

"...."

"Kaeya... where's Y/N?" Diluc said, suspiciously. This made a tear come out of Kaeya's face

"S-She's missing" Kaeya said, with his eyes glossy as he was trying to keep the tears inside

Now that made Diluc's eyes widen. "Wait what? Ho-" Diluc said until he was cut off. "I'm not allowed to tell you that but just so you know, I'm gonna find her..

And bring her back"
