Angela opened the door to Ciel's guest room

"I apologize for the lateness of the hour" Angela said as you were looking over papers and Sebastian was getting Ciel's outfit ready for tomorrow. "Our young master is about to retire" You said to her.

"I have a request" Angela said to Ciel, as he was reading a book. "Please, leave this village. You mustn't be here" She said. "Why not?" Ciel said bluntly, turning to the next page of his book

"I can't-" Angela said, before getting cut off from a howl as you rose an eyebrow

'Don't tell me Andrius is here'  You thought. "Oh, no! The demon hound is here!" Angela said as she was shaking. "Demon hound?" You said as Angela screamed from what she was looking at. You turned around, seeing a wolf shadow

"Y/N!" Ciel ordered as you opened the curtains, revealing nothing. "What was that?" Ciel said. "Young master, look" You said, pointing at a wolf (from the window) , leaving green footprints

You, Ciel, and Sebastian went outside as Ciel took his finger, picking up some of the excess dust from the footprints as he scoffed lightly. "Young master!" Someone screamed as you turned around, revealing Mey- Rin but with her hair open and in her sleepwear as the other servants also had their sleepwear

"Angela!" Finny exclaimed as Baldroy was holding a pillow. "What the devil's the fuss about?" Baldroy questioned as you were about to speak until Angela cut you off. "The demon hound has appeared"

"Demon hound?" The three servants said in sync as Angela nodded. "It brings calamity upon the village. Those who defy my master are punished by the demon hound. That is the law of this village" She said

"Angela" Someone said, revealing a villager. "Please tell Lord Barrymore that the demon hound has come" The Villager said as the town carried torches

"Who's been punished?" She said. "Come take a look" The villager said

Once you all reached there, your eyes widen on what you were seeing

It was that boy who was petting that dog (and who mey- rin wanted to be petted from). He wasn't alive, he was dead. He had scratches and bites all over him as blood soaked his shirt and pants

"That's awful" Baldroy said as You and Ciel went to take a closer look at the body. When you were in Mondstatd, you used to do a lot of these detective cases so it was normal for you to see a corpse

You looked at the dead man's hand and showed it to Ciel, who sharpened his eyes. "I see.." He whispered. "Don't touch!" Someone said as You and Ciel turned your heads, looking at Lord Henry

"So James was the bad dog?" Lord Henry asked. "Yes. Apparently, he broke the five dog rule and kept a sixth dog" One of the villagers responded to Lord Henry

"I see. Then this was inevitable" Lord Henry said. "Hey! How can you say that?!" Baldroy said. "This village has laws I have decreed. Those who break them are punished by the demon hound who protects the Barrymores!" Lord Henry exclaimed as the villagers started to chant

"Lullaby~ Lullaby~ The white dog is a good dog~ The disobedient black dog is a bad dog~ Lullaby, the sun sets~ Lullaby and good night~" They sang as they took the poor boy's body

"I was sure the outsiders would be its prey" Lord Henry muttered as he looked towards you, Ciel, Sebastian, and the three servants. "You've had a narrow escape" He said as he and Angela were following the crowd as you were thinking

'There's something wrong with this village, I just know it'

also, that one scene where lord henry called ciel a chihuahua still lives in my head rent free 😭

besties help my mom was scolding me for drinking too much coffee and she did this weird ass dance while saying 'I swear to god if you drink too much coffee, your ass is gonna get beaten up so much its gonna look like ur on ur period'
