Hey guys! author chan here! quick disclaimer, ch 10 and ch 11 (or more)  will be on how y/n and kaeya met and how they became friends~

Today was the day. It was the day when Kaeya went on his first mission as a knight of favonius. Inside, Kaeya was more than excited, he was thrilled

He then went to the acting grandmaster's office to find out what the mission was. He knocked on the door and heard a faint 'Come in'

Kaeya opened the door, revealing the Acting Grandmaster and a girl with h/c hair and e/c eyes, with an anemo vision

"Ah, you must be Kaeya Alberich correct? I'am Jean Gunnhildr, Acting Grandmaster of the Knights of Favonius. I suppose you are here for the details of your mission, correct?" Jean said, standing up

"Yes, and it's a pleasure to meet you Acting Grandmaster" Kaeya said, respectfully

"Before I begin, I would like to introduce Y/N L/N. This will also be your first mission and I have decided that you two will work together, am I clear?" Jean exclaimed

Kaeya wanted to refuse since he was better working on his own, but he couldn't refuse Jean's orders

"Yes Acting Grandmaster" You and Kaeya said. "Alright, there have been reports of hilichuls going inside the Thousands Winds temple. I want you to investigate the matter and report back to me" Jean said, before sitting down

"Yes Ma'am" You and Kaeya responded before leaving the office

You and Kaeya were walking to the Thousands Winds temple. Once you reached there, you opened the door.

"Alright, let's go in" You said before a hand was blocking your way. "Sorry but I don't want a pretty lady like you to get hurt~" Kaeya said with a 'innocent' smile

"I can handle mysel- oh, ohohohohoho. You're just scared that a pretty lady like me can defeat more hilichurls than you, is that right~?" You said in a teasing tone with a shit-eating smirk

Kaeya then returned the smirk towards you. "Oh barbatos no, I just don't want to be in trouble if a lady like you dies cause you can't defen-"

You aimed your sword towards him. "Let's find out inside, huh" You said, dangerously as you went inside (along with kaeya)

As you and Kaeya were walking, 2 hilichurls were guarding a door (not to mention, bows in their hands)

Kaeya took his sword out, ready to fight until he realized the hilichurls were already dead.

"Huh?" He said with confusion until he looked at you. "Let's go, shall we~" You said with a grin, putting your sword back as you walked towards the door

Kaeya was surprised but didn't let it show as he chuckled. "It seems that I've underestimated you, Y/N." He said

"Kaeya, it may look like ladies can't defend themselves but you should know, they can do more than that" You said as you were walking with kaeya

"We got off to a pretty bad start huh?" Kaeya said, with a smile as you smiled back. "It seems we did" You replied

As the anemo and cryo users were walking, they saw more hilichurls along with a mitachurl. They also seem to notice you both and got ready to fight

"Ms Y/N, may I have the pleasure of fighting alongside you~?" Kaeya said, smirking as he let out his hand. You let out a smugly smirk as you accepted his hand

"We shall, Sir Kaeya ~"
