The Hilichurls were charging towards you two as the mitachurl got its shield ready (a/n: i hate those types of mitachurls lol)

You immediately charged for the mitachurl, making your attacks go on the shield. You then did a plunge attack, destroying the mitachurl along with it

You were backing up and so did Kaeya, making your backs touch each other. You and Kaeya made eye contact as you both smirked.

"You thinking what I'm thinking?" You said

"It appears so" Kaeya replied

You both threw your swords and caught each other's, making Kaeya unlock his attack. "Oh, so sorry~" He said, attacking the hilichurls

'It won't hurt to activate mine, won't it?' You thought to yourself as you smirked, activating your special attack

"Never underestimate me~" You said as kaeya's sword was covered in anemo energy and doing a slash with the sword

"That's the last of them" Kaeya said as he handed your sword and you handed him his

You then heard footsteps. "Not quite, eye-patch" you warned him as enemy reinforcements came. "Oh, a nickname huh? The I should call you Slacker" Kaeya replied with a smugly smirk

A Pryo Abyss Mage (along with more hilichurls came) and got ready for action

'This is gonna take a while' You and Kaeya both though

"Now that's the last of them" You said as you took out your sword from a hilichurl's dead body. "Let's go and report this to the acting grandmaster" Kaeya said as you nodded

"Great work, you two. You can have the rest of the day off. I'll send a knight over if I need you two" Jean said as she smiled

"Yes Ma'am" both of you replied. "Please, no formalities and call me Jean" She said as she chuckled a little

"Got it, Jean" You smiled as you and Kaeya left her office.

"We should get to know each other, meet me at angel's share at 6 pm" Kaeya said as he winked at you. "Oh, are you asking me out already? It's too early~" You joked around as Kaeya slapped your right shoulder playfully

"Don't go slacking off Slacker" Kaeya said as you laughed a little. "Take good care of your good eye, eye-patch" You exclaimed back, making Kaeya chuckle as you left

As you left, Kaeya mumbled something that made him smile a little

"My first friend.."
