𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡 | 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧 𝐱 𝐛𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐫

[ 𝟒𝟐 ]

It was a cloudy day at the church, as you, Sebastian and Ciel were on your way to Madam Red's funeral

You turned around, seeing 3 kids playing with each other across the church. "Lots of people here today, huh big brother" The little boy said. "Why?" The little girl said. "Dunno" The older boy said

"You're older! You don't know?" The little boy said. You just chuckled as you went to them. "Unfortunately, there's a funeral inside the church" You said to them as their eyes widen

The little girl pointed at the older boy. "Are you dumb?" She said. "I'm only twelve! I don't have to know!" He said angrily. "Indeed.." A voice said at the kids (including you) turned to see what was the voice

"It's only natural a normal 12- year old wouldn't know" Undertaker said as you just smiled at the kids

"I have to go, goodbye for now" You said waving as they were waving back at you

"Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: But if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit so that we do not close off our distant future" The priest said, revealing Madam Red in a coffin, wearing a white dress as white flowers were around her

"Aunt An..." Elizabeth said as dried tears were shown on her face, as the doors opened, revealing Ciel with half of his hair on the side as he was holding a red dress

"Ciel?" Elizabeth said as she looked at her fiance (a/n: ok that hurt so much)

Ciel was walking towards Madam Red's corpse. "That's... the Phantomhive boy?" Someone whispered. "A scarlet dress?" Another person whispered. "How improper!" The third person whispered loudly, as Ciel heard it but paid no attention to it

"But Madam loved the color red" A lady whispered as you and Sebastian were looking at Ciel

Ciel then placed the dress on top of Madam Red's body, covering the white dress she had. "White flowers and plain dresses don't suit you. What suit you is a passionate red" Ciel said to Madam Red with a smirk as he took the red flower from his breast pocket and placed it next to Madam Red

"The color of spider lilies, blazing in the fields... Aunt An" Ciel said as he brought his face closer to Madam Red's face

Sebastian then opened a cart, filled with rose petals as you used your anemo vision to make it scatter across the church.

"Sleep well... Madam Red" Ciel muttered

You, Sebastian, Lau and Ciel were inside the church (but not where the funeral was)

"You're not going to report to the Queen who Jack the Ripper was?" You said, raising an eyebrow. You knew about Ciel's loyalty to the Queen so it was rather shocking

"There's no need. Her wish was that we end the incidents. That objective has been fulfilled" Ciel responded. "And you'll keep right on sinking into the quagmire, won't you?" Lau said as he was leaning against the wall with his arms crossed

"Even if you set foot somewhere you can't return from, I know you would never let anyone see you pathetically screaming and crying for help. Not you, the proud dog of the Queen" Lau continued.
