Brianna's POV:

"I'm saying I want you to be my girlfriend."

I froze. I knew the boy liked me, but I didn't know he liked me that much. What was I going to say? I knew I liked him back. A lot in fact; but was I ready for something like that? I knew I was breaking away from some of those wounds, but I felt like they still had a hold on me some how.

"Umm...wow. That's one hell of a want."

He put his head down as he let out a laugh.

"Yeah, I guess. So...what do you say? Will you?"

"Uh...well you know that I like you like crazy, but my question is, are you willing to deal with me? I haven't healed completely, so it's still going to take some time to get use to me."

He looked back up at me.

"Of course I'm willing. Brianna you don't understand how much I want to be with you. It will literally kill me if I don't get a chance to."

Him saying that allowed me to know what my answer was.

"Well then, the answer is yes."

His facial expression changed as he got up; allowing me to wrap my legs around his waist.

"Jeremy, I don't think I should be doing this in a dress."

"It doesn't matter. It's not like you're flashing anyone."

"I know but..."

He silenced me by kissing my lips. Suddenly, the warm and blissful feeling took over and I practically melted in his arms. One of his hands roamed my back while the other was on my butt; holding me up.

"You did that to shut me up didn't you?" I asked after breaking it.

"Well particularly. I also really wanted to."

I couldn't help but blush. Boy was I in for an adventure, and so was he. Let's just hope that this relationship will last long.

"So now what do we do?" I asked.

"Well now I have to clean up. You can go wait in the car while I clean."

I looked at him crazy. Did he seriously think I would wait in that car, by myself, in the dark?!That's just asking for someone to kill me.

"Ah...I don't think that's a good idea."

He set me down so I could stand.

"Why not?"

"Well let's think about this logically shall we?I'm a black girl, sitting in a car by myself, in the dark. Now you tell me what you think of that?"

He laughed uncontrollably before pulling himself together.

"I don't think anyone's going to kill you. Anyway, if you're that uneasy about it than just stay here while I clean up."

I nodded my head in agreement. Staying here was the better option.

"Gosh, you watch too many horror movies." He said before walking off."

------------------

He finished placing everything in the back of his car before he walked to the drivers side. I was already in the car, just relaxing, while using my phone as a distraction. The car door opened, letting in a presence before closing. I turned to look at Jeremy. He had his suit jacket off with his sleeves from his button up rolled up. This allowed me to take a good look at his arms. They were pretty built, but not too muscular, and showed off his veins. Now am I the only one who finds it attractive when you can see the veins on a guy's arm? I can't be.
