Brianna's POV:
After I told Haley about Jeremy asking me to homecoming, she hasn't done nothing but bug me all week. She basically treats it like the boy asked me to marry him. But of course I can kinda understand why. This will be the first time I ever go to a dance with a boy. It will also be my first date ever. I'm really nervous about it, but then again I got Haley; who so happens to know everything about dating.
Right now were at the mall, dress shopping. I wasn't to trilled about it, but Haley told me we would hang out at her place later. So I decided to just go along with it.
"So where should we go first? I know Forever 21 might have some cute dresses. Oh and then we can go to Macy's for some shoes!!"
I just shrugged my shoulders. Personally I never stepped foot in any of these stores, so I had no idea on what lied ahead.
"Don't just shrug your shoulders Brianna. It's about time you start shopping at other places besides Target. Anyway, let's go to Forever 21 first."
She grabbed my arm and pulled me along.
Once we stepped foot in that store, it was like a whole different world. There were a ton of girls everywhere looking around and trying on outfits. They also had the store blasting with pop music. I could see why this was Haley's favorite store.
"Hello, welcome to Forever 21. Can I help you girls find anything today." said the shopping assistant.
"Umm yes. We need help finding some homecoming dresses."
"Ah yes. Right this way."
The lady started to walk towards the back of the store while Haley and I followed behind her. I know Haley told me they have really good deals here, but my budget is $25 dollars. So if we can't find a dress for that much, I'm out of here.
"Here they are. And the dressing rooms are around the corner. Enjoy!"
The shopping assistant left Haley and I. And, when Haley first set eyes on the dresses, she totally flipped.
"Oh my god! We have to try on all of them!!!"
I looked at her like she was crazy. I am not about to waste the rest of my day in this store.
"I'm kidding Brianna. Anyway, I already know which one I want considering I saw it on their website. Now all we need is to find you yours."
She started to pick out some dresses and hand them to me.
"Okay. Go try these on and I'll be there to judge in a sec. I'm going to go pay for my dress first."
I nodded my head and headed to the dressing room. Gosh! She can be so demanding when it comes to shopping.
I got to the dressing room and shut the door. Then, I laid all the dresses out. Some of them were definitely not my style. But there were a few that I liked, so I tried those on first.
"Come on Brianna. I just paid for my dress. Now let me see what ya workin with."
I hurried up and put on a dress. Then I stepped outside.
"Hmmm. Nope, not good enough."
I rolled my eyes and stepped back in the dressing room. This was probably going to take a while.
~ 3 minute later ~
I tried on almost all the dresses and so far the only answer I got was no. But there was still hope. There was one left and it was a nice peachy pink kind of color. Without wasting anytime, I put it on and stepped out the dressing room.
