Tory's POV
Some of the people inside our classroom were looking at me intently like they've seen a ghost. After I introduced myself their jaw literally dropped. Tch! Why do I have to see those people again? Another bothersome!
"Clemente? You're the one and only granddaughter of Mr. Clemente that owns 30 percent shares of this school. Hmm, your family is quiet famous and rich. You may sit wherever you want." this prof said. Axel and I sit in front of the class since no one was there. I still hear random whispers from others but I just ignored them.
"Once again, I'm Bench Tolentino, your Diffcal instructor. We will meet for the whole first semester. For today we will talk about introduction of our subject first." he said. "How many of you came from STEM when you were in Senior High School?" sir Tolentino asked.
Almost all of the students here raised their hands while I just crossed mine.
"So most of you already have a background about Differential Calculus since you already met Pre Calculus before?"
"Yes sir." they answered.
"How about the others?" some answered they're from ABM or GAS then sir Tolentino looked at me and Axel like he's waiting for us to answer his question.
"I'm from the old curriculum sir. I stopped for 4 years." is he really that poor that he can't even go to college? Hah! No wonder he accepted my grandfather's offer.
"And you Miss Clemente?" they focused their gazes on me. Do I have to answer that?
"I'm homeschooled." Axel seemed surprised. What's surprising about me being homeschooled?
"I see. Did you have already a background about our subject?" sir Tolentino asked.
"Solving countless problems and equations about your subject back then can make me pass even if I don't study and listen to your lectures." I calmly answered.
"Yabang." Bulong nitong katabi ko na rinig ko naman. Nginisian ko lang naman siya bilang sagot.
"How boastful. Since you said that, you better prove it to my class right?" Naghiyawan naman ang mga tao sa likod namin. Is he challenging me? He started walking towards the whiteboard then wrote a problem before facing us again.
"Now, can any of you solve this problem on the board?" silence is their answer. No one dared to raised their hands or even go to the board.
What a shame! All they know is to open their mouth but not their brains. It's just a simple problem. You just need to get its derivative.
I rolled my eyes and walked towards the board too. They don't even know how to solve a fvckin simple problem. What a group of stupid people.
With in split second I answered the problem.
"This is what a student should be like, mayabang pero may ibubuga." nakangising sabi ni sir Tolentino pagkatapos kong isara yung takip ng whiteboard marker.
Tahimik naman akong bumalik sa kinauupuan ko.
"Huy paano mo nasolve yun? Napagaralan mo na talaga? Infairness madam yung sulat mo ang ganda." bulong ulit sakin ni Axel.
"Makinig ka nalang sa nagsasalita sa harapan." inirapan niya naman ako at tumingin na nga kay sir Tolentino dahil nagdidiscuss na ito about sa subject.
After 2 hours natapos din ang first subject namin ni Axel ngayong araw. We still have a 1 hour vacant so we decided to find the cafeteria to eat since we didn't get the chance to eat breakfast.
