The Past

Chapter 1

The sun shines brightly in the sky, and the weather is fine too. Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook lived separately from their parents' house. The three of them decided to lived together since their trainee days up until the present. Jin and Namjoon were living with their parents. Yoongi and Hoseok is living together on their joint-apartment in Itaewon, since their families were living outside Seoul. Yoongi's family is in Daegu, while Hosoek's family is in Gwangju.

Today is a weekend and so the boys decided to meet up and spend their weekends at Yoongi and Hoseok's place in Itaewon.

Taehyung grabbed his phone and texted one of his brothers asking what time are they going to Yoongi and Hoseok's place.

Tae stood up from bed after his short convo with his Jin-hyung. He went to take his shower and dress up for their photo shoot.

Jimin and Jungkook were also preparing.

After an hour, the three of them were all set and is going to the venue of their photo shoot.

While on their way, they are having a conversation about their homework for the next week's class.

Jimin: "Taehyung-ah, are you done with our homework in Marketing?" He asked Taehyung.

Tae: "Hmm, but I'm still thinking of revising it." He answered.

Jimin: "How about you, Jungkook-ah?" He then asked the youngest.

Jungkook: "I still don't quite getting it, hyung. I think I need some help." He admitted.

Tae: "Eh? Why? What's the problem?" He asked.

Jimin: "Is something bothering you? You're not like that. It's easy for you to finish our homework in that class."

Jungkook: "I don't know, it felt like, I still need more time to do a research."

Jimin: "Well you can visit the library. Are the results on the internet still not enough for you?"

Jungkook: "I think so. Well, I should visit the library on Monday."

Tae and Jimin hummed as their agreement on the youngest answer.

After a while, they reached the venue of their shoot for Hyundai. They've been assisted to their waiting room, and foods were also served to them. The boys took their meal first before they decided to continue with the shoot.

Not so long after, they quickly finished the shoot with a very satisfying result, and their manager called it a day. The boys immediately left the venue, and headed to Itaewon.

Violet's POV

Today is a weekend, and it's laundry day.

I woke up quiet early today and decided to have a short run around the neighborhood.

I was on my way home, when I saw an old lady having a hard time pushing her heavy cart. Without a hunch, I went to the old lady and helped her with her cart.

Mrs. Lee: "Oh, Violet, Thank you for helping me." The old lady said while chasing her breathe.

I smiled at the old lady while taking over the cart.

Violet: "Mrs. Lee, it's okay. I was also on my way home. Why do you keep on pushing heavy carts like this? I mean, you should call someone for help." I jokingly nagged at her like she's my grand ma.

Mrs. Lee: "Aigoo, I don't want to be a burden to anybody, especially my family."

Violet: "Ahjumma, you are not a burden to anybody especially to your family. If Mrs. Park would know about this, I'm sure she'll get mad at you." I said while pushing the cart.

Mrs Lee: "You're such a kind girl, Violet. Thank you for always helping me. You should drop by at the house later, okay? Join us for dinner." The old lady happily invited me.

Violet: "Oh ahjumma, I would love too, and thank you for the invitation, but I couldn't this time, I still have to work this evening." I kindly refused the invitation.

Mrs Lee: "Is that so? Okay then, whenever you are free, just come at the house, okay?"

Violet: "I will, ahjumma. Thank you."

After a few minutes, we had reached outside Mrs. Lee's house. I put the cart near their gate before I walked away going home.

As I reached my house, I grabbed a bottle of water in the fridge to drink.. I noticed that I am running out of grocery stocks, and I should visit a grocery store.

I went to my room and had a quick shower so that I can start doing my laundry.

I was doing my laundry, when suddenly my phone rang.

*On the phone with Ae-ri*

        Violet: "Hello?"
       Ae-ri: "Hi Violet, it's me Ae-ri, can you come at the bar quiet early today? I have an                                   emergency situation at home, I need to be there as soon as possible. Please?"
      Violet: "Hey, calm down. Okay, I'll be there on time."
      Ae-ri: "Thank you so much, Vi. I already told Ms. Areum about it. She said, she'll wait for                       you, and please don't be late. You know it's weekend.."
     Violet: "Okay, Ae-ri."

After the phone call, I immediately finished my laundries so that I can leave the house early and be at the bar on time.

I decided to drive my car instead of grabbing a cab, so that I can reach the bar as fast as possible.
