Chapter 27

Duke: "Welcome home, Violet." He whispered to her ears.

Duke finally made an appearance and sat on a vacant chair in front of Violet.

Duke: "Didn't you missed me? You don't know how much I awaited for this perfect chance to finally be with you.. all alone.. I really thought there will never be a chance that you will be left alone. But I guess, fate is still working for the two of us.." He said..

Violet is still fighting to free herself.

Duke: "Oh.. what's that? You want to say something?"

Duke get near her and took off the cloth that covers her mouth.

Violet released a deep breathe before she talked back to Duke.

Violet: "Let me go you psycho! Why are you doing this to me?!" She exclaimed.

Duke: "Calm down, my love. You'll continue to get hurt if you keep on resisting. You know you can't release yourself... And STOP CALLING ME PSYCHO! I'M NOT A PSYCHO!" He madly exclaimed and suddenly slapped Violet's face.

The slap is so hard that Violet vomited blood..

Duke was kind of shocked with what he did, and so he knelt in front of Violet and caressed her swollen cheeks and wounded lips.

Duke: "I..I'm s-sorry, my love. I didn't mean to slap you.. I'm so sorry.." he apologized.

But Violet looked so disgusting with the man's reaction.

Violet: "Get away from me!" She shouted.

Duke was shocked.. He was hurt by how Violet is looking and talking back at him.. He love the girl so much, and he is so desperate now to make her love him back..

Duke: "Please, Violet.. Come back to me.. Let us start all over again.. I promise you that we will be happy again. Please just come back to me.." He begged.

Violet: "Are you hearing yourself now? Duke, we are long done... and I will never ever get back to you again.. after what you did to me? You still think that I will get back to you and forget about everything you did? You are really out of your mind!" She said..

Duke: "Baby, I promise I will not hurt you again.. I will change for you.. Just please, come back to me.."

Violet: "NO!! that will never happen, over my dead body!" She exclaimed.

Duke couldn't hold back anymore of his anger.

Duke: "Really? Over your dead body? Is that what you want? If I'm going to kill you, can I finally get you back?"

Violet was shocked and suddenly felt afraid hearing those words from him. She couldn't hold back of her tears.

Violet: "W-what?"

Duke stood up from kneeling and walked towards the kitchen.. he took out a knife from one of the drawers in the kitchen, and went back to Violet's direction.

Violet's eyes widened as he saw what Duke took out from the kitchen.

Violet: "W-what a-are you going to do?? Duke! You're out of your mind! Don't come near me!!!"

Duke continued walking towards her direction and pretended not hearing whatever she said..

As he got near her, he pointed the knife on Violet's neck.

Violet froze from her place and is trembling with fear.

Duke: "You really want to die instead of getting back with me? Don't you know what will happen after you die? Did you think about your family? Your friends? And your little lover?" He whispered to her while slowly deepening the knife on her neck.

The knife is slowly cutting Violet's skin. Blood is dripping from her wounded neck.

Violet: "P-please, I'm begging you.. S-Stop this.. D-do not hurt my family.. my friends.. and Jungkook." She begged.

Duke: "Okay.. But you have to choose.. Who do you love the most? Me or Jungkook?"

Violet became silent for a moment.. She thought, no matter what happened to her tonight, even if this psycho man will take her life, she will choose Jungkook over anything else.

Violet: "J-Jungkook.." She answered.

Although Duke really expected to hear it, he still can't believe that Violet really did choose the guy over her life..

Duke let go of the knife, and faced Violet again..

Duke: "Then, that fucking man will also die.." He coldly said.

Violet: "N-no.. N-no.. Please. I'm begging you.. don't hurt him.. hurt me all you want, but p-please.. not him.." She desperately begged.

Duke did not like what he is seeing.. His madness suddenly overtook him again which made him hurt the girl again and again before he stopped.

Violet is covered with blood all over her face, bruises all over her body, and her neck is still hurting and bleeding..

Duke: "What does that man has, that I don't have Violet? Why can't you love me back again?!" He shouted..

Violet is not answering for she is loosing all her strength.. Her whole body is aching, and she is receiving too much physical pain from the man.

Duke suddenly had an idea, he took out Violet's phone and made her open it by scanning her fingerprint.. When the phone is already unlocked, he immediately went to her contacts and dialed someone..
