The Past

Chapter 12

It's been a long and stressful week for all of them. With Violet working day and night, as well as the trio's, who have been keenly attending their classes for the whole week and resuming their practices after school. The others were all so busy with their own works too. Weekend is coming, and so they decided to crash Yoongi and Hoseok's place at Itaewon again. And they also decided to visit Violet too at the bar she's working at.

It's been just a week but Violet became so much closer with the boys and the others. They even exchanged numbers. Jungkook and Violet is constantly texting each other during their free time after work. The boys were teasing Jungkook with it. They said, it is really undeniable now that Jungkook has something towards the girl. And they were all supportive of it, but at the same time is worrying too because of his status.

Jennie came with the others and so as Byul. She heard a lot about Violet from Jin. She said, she wanted to meet her too.

Everyone is at Itaewon now, and is preparing to go at the bar.

Meanwhile, Violet knew that her friends are coming. But she made sure not to be distracted of their presence, because she doesn't want to ruin her work.

Not so long after, the group had arrived at the bar, and immediately looked for a table. They have been assisted by a staff, and led them to a couch where they could all settle. All of them is looking at Violet at the bar station, while she is working. They are waiting for her to see them.

Hoseok: "Yaa.. Don't you think Vi is too sexy doing that thing?" He commented while pointing out Vi mixing drinks.

Jungkook glared at Hoseok.

Hoseok: "Hey, I just complimented, okay? Calm down." He said.

Some of the giggled with Jungkook's reaction.

Jennie: "If I were you, I will confess my feelings to her.. Don't loose your chance, gguk." She suggested.

Jimin, Taehyung, Jisoo and Byul nodded as their agreement with Jennie.

Jin: "Yah! Don't pressure the kid. Maybe he's just waiting for a perfect chance. Right gguk?"

Jungkook: "Honestly, I'm scared." He confessed.

Yoongi: "What is there to be scared of kid?"

Jungkook: "I don't know. Maybe our differences.. You see, I don't want to put her in harm. I mean, with our fans surrounding us, I don't want them to tell bad things about her.. She's living a peaceful life before we came, hyung. I don't want to take that away from her." He explained.

Everyone understood him, and they saw his point. But they also see the loneliness in his eyes.

Namjoon: "Bro, if you will always think of what others will say, you will never be that really happy. Yes, you do have a point, but if your fans really loves you, they will support you whoever makes you happy.. And we know that you will protect her with all your might."

Jisoo: "I agree with Joonie, gguk.. The three of you have been depriving yourselves for who knows how long. We know that you wanted also to live a normal life.. And it's all up to you guys. You are all grown ups now, I know, you are already responsible of your own actions, so go on with living a normal life.. It's not a crime to be happy and to have a life."

Others agreed with Jisoo.

Jungkook: "T-thank you guys, for being always there for the three of us. I know sometimes we are already a burden to all of you, but you still keep on hanging with us."

Jin: "Ya! No one is ever been a burden here. We're family right? And family got each other's back.."

Yoongi: "Okay, Okay! Enough with this shitty emotional moments.. Gather your balls kid and go at the counter bar. We're here to unwind right?"

Hoseok hissed at Yoongi's reaction.. "What a joy-killer.." He complained.

Others giggled with Hoseok's reaction.

Jungkook stood up from his seat and headed to the counter bar where Violet is.

Jungkook stood up nearly in front of Violet. He was waiting for her to finish what she's doing.

When Violet is done, Jungkook grabbed the opportunity to get Violet's attention.

Jungkook: "Hey."

Violet looked at the boy's direction. As she saw Jungkook, she immediately smiled and stood up in front of him.

Violet: "Hey.. Are you with the guys?" She asked.

Jungkook nodded and slightly moved aside to give Violet a view of their friends.

Violet waved at them, and so as them to her.

Violet: "So, what's up? Did you all just arrived?"

Jungkook: "Ahh, yeah, for some quite a while now.."

Violet: "Good. So what's your order?"

Jungkook: "Same old.."

Violet: "Okay, I got you." She winked and smiled at him before she moved to prepare their drinks.

Jungkook noticed that Violet is mixing a drink, which reminded him that it's not a part of their usual order. He waited for the girl to finish mixing the drink before he asked.

Jungkook: "Who's that for? I didn't ordered that." He complained.

Violet: "Ya, it's not for you. It's for Jennie. It's her favorite drink." She said.

Violet put the glass of mixed drinks on the tray, and called the waiter to deliver the order on her friend's table. Jungkook stayed for a while.

Jungkook: "How'd you know that it's Jennie's favorite drink?"

Violet: "Don't you know? She's a regular here. She's been coming with me here if she's bored. You know." She answered and smiled.

They continued chatting..
