The feeling's overwhelming. It's incredible. It's terrifying... And pretty uncomfortable. Every time I think of the word adventure a storm of angry butterflies scramble my stomach. We're travelling the world!!!! I chew on the inside of my cheek to stop for grinning too hard as I slap my adventure notebook on to the wooden table. And then stop grinning altogether when I suddenly remember Katy unconscious, lying in a hospital bed while we're going to be having the time of our lives. Guilt gnaws on me and I push it away. 'Go away, 'I think. 'It's just a small break.'
Kayla sighs dramatically. "How on earth are we going to go to all of these places Am?" She says, raising a neatly plucked eyebrow. "Well, how not?" I reply defensively, crossing my arms over my chest and jutting out my chin. "Um... It's going to be an expensive trip?" Esther says quietly, questioningly, surprising both me an Kayla. She spoke! I hide my surprise and smile widely, displaying all brace straightened teeth. "I've got upto 50 different ways for us to travel no problem, only... Some of them may not be completely safe or irrational." The doubtful and scared expressions on their faces only make me laugh. "Relax. It's an adventure."
More like escapism. A voice whispers in my head. I shove it away.

"Okay, plan A," I begin, explaining all the possible ways to pull of this off. "We bribe your sister with nice compliments to drive us around-we can even tell we'll pay for some of the gas expenses. It'll be perfect because she's got that really awesome grampa minivan!" Kayla gives me a skeptical look and Esther gnaws on her nails nervously. But I plow on: "Plan B, we hitch hike all the way around the world!" Esther's jaw literally drops. "Um... No, I'll fall into a serious bad hair day... EVERYDAY!!!"
"Oh no one cares about your stupid hair," And I go on, completely ignoring her splutters of discontent. "There's this really reliable website-" I pause, wrestling with the notebook."It tells you who's going where at what time, what day, and month. And they can drop you off, it's not like wasting their gas or anything-"
"I'm not sure that's legal." Esther mumbles.
"It's totally legal!"
"Yeah but who are these people? Am, they could be psychokillers for all you know..." Kayla Objects.
I let out a frustrated groan. "Urgh just let me finish!" I glare at both of them for effect. Then flip out the timetable I copied out from the website into my notebook. "Okay, see here? This is the driver who'll be dropping off five people to Cadair Idris-our closest stop. The last time I checked only two people chipped in and said they wanted to join. So if we're fast we can still go without all the pay expenses!" Esther's looking scared again, and Kayla annoyed but neither say anything for a minute. Fine, lets have a vote." I say diplomatically.
Plan A?" Esther and Kayla raise their hands. I sigh. "Well at least that's sorted."
