Katy POV
People were screaming every where and I couldn't keep track of my surroundings. I could tell I was on my back and the air was potent. the screams faded away as the pupils left the class room and the fire alarm became the centre of what I could hear. Miss was leaning over me now,
"Stay awake Katy," her voice was frantic, "Don't shu..." her voice faded to nothing and soon so did my vison, and then my touch, and then my thoughts.
~~~Esther's P.O.V~~~
I snapped back to reality, the room was red... and HOT! I needed to get out. I had wasted time!
"Help! Someone!" I looked round, I was trapped behind burning tables and stools. I was going to die. Death has caught up with me. I was going to die. I crumpled to the floor.
"Esther?" I looked up from my pit of despair and saw Kayla through the flames.
"Kayla! Help me!" I screamed. The fire was getting closer to me.
"What the hell are you doing here!?"
"Why the hell are there people in here?!" I looked past Kayla to see a boy.
"Shut up!" Kayla turned to the boy and glared at him, "Bailey, if you want to help, HELP!"
Bailey turned towards me and started moving tables, cursing as he did.
"Kayla? Why are you guys in here?" Miss Edwards came round the corner with Katy in her arms. She sounded out of breath.
"Katy?" Kayla stepped forward and helped Miss with her friend. The smoke and gas was burning my eyes and I could no longer see. Finally the way was clear but the air was to thick. I collapsed to the floor and Bailey ran towards me on a vain attempt to catch me. He scooped me off the floor and carried me, bridal style, out the room. I could vaguely see Miss following us out with Kayla, supporting Katy I between them.
