Lord of the Rings Elves imagines

How lotr elves would react to their s/o leaving a party after feeling anxious.

Elrond:

- Elrond would immediately notice that you have gone from his side.

- After finishing his conversation with whoever it was as quickly as possible he will go after you to discover if you needed his help.

- Elrond finds you sitting and watching the stars, silently he joins you and takes your cold hands in his warm ones.

- He asks what is wrong and you explain that you were getting overwhelmed and needed some time away from the party. Elrond immediately understands and stays out with you until either you wish to rejoin the party or retire.

- If you retire to your rooms Elrond re-joins the party, being the host, but he always makes sure someone checks on you and when the party is finally finished he will immediately join you in your room.

- If you are asleep he will join you in bed, but if you are awake you will usually talk and Elrond will fill you in on the rest of the events of the party, although you wouldn't have missed much.

Thranduil:

- Thranduil will not notice, being too engaged with the party, wine and merriment that he will not see you slipping out of the door. It takes either Legolas or an aid of his to let him know that you have left.

- Thranduil will, with his wine, go and find you. He wasn't annoyed at leaving, knowing he would join back, he knew that you were anxious and he wished to make sure you were always comfortable.

- He finds you in your shared bedroom, sitting next to the bath/pool, your feet dipped into the water. You get a shock when he places his hand on your head and sits next to you.

- You immediately apologise for taking him away from the party which he enjoys so much, however, he shushes you and reminds you that he cares for you more than he does his parties.

- After a short while of talking he leaves to go back, promising he would be back with you in a short while.

- A short while with Thranduil is quite long, however, he will return with wine and a plate of food, making a mini after party for you and him.

Lindir:

- Lindir, like you, doesn't like parties, so when he sees you leave he promptly does also.

- He finds you in the gardens, sitting on the grass and watching the stars. Lindir flops down beside you and together you would sit in silence, watching the stars and constellations.

- After a while, you both are brought back to earth and you both decide not to return to the party, instead, you would walk together in the moonlight in the gardens and then retire to bed.

Haldir:

- Parties are one of the only times in which Haldir can relax as he is not at work. When he notices you leave he immediately gets worried and leaves his now rowdy fellow guardsmen to look for you.

- Haldir finds you in your rooms, looking out the window and at the trees. Immediately you apologise when you hear him come in, feeling bad that you had brought him away from the party which he rarely gets to attend.

- Haldir shushes you by placing a hand on your head and tells you it does not matter. You explain to him that you usually do not join the parties because he is away and that you went for him.

- Haldir listened carefully and understood, of course, he wanted to join back the party, and after making sure you were okay with him going he returned, still thinking of you.

- After a little while he returns. If you are asleep he will join you in bed but if you are awake you will talk and spend time with each other which is a rare gift, especially as dark forces loom.

Arwen:

- Arwen notices when you leave, she knew your worries over parties and so, after excusing herself, she goes after you.

- She finds you on a bench, looking out on the gardens and the dark sky. You sit together in silence for a while, Arwen slipping a hand in yours. Together you enjoyed each other's presence and the sky.

- Arwen is the first to speak, asking if you are okay and if you need anything. You said that you were just anxious and Arwen nodded in understanding, giving you a hug.

- Together you go back to your rooms and talk for a while by the balcony, enjoying each other and the night air.
