Dear readers! Thank you so much for sticking around!!! May is a really magical month for me as on the 3rd of May, 2014, I started working on this story. In the beginning, I planned a simple mission for Obi-Wan and Anakin, my Bost was only created a few chapters later, in chapter 6, written on the 12th. Therefore, May 12 is his "birthday" sorta. Omg! :') Memories.
Alright, now for the chapter.
Ps. Anyone celebrates birthdays of fictional characters? I'll SO party for this one. Yeahhhh!

Four men were forming a circle on a wooden floor, flat pillows beneath their bottoms. In the middle of this circle stood a tiny lamp with very small amount of light given out, only enough to lighten the men's faces. The air got cooler since their travels in daytime.

The night was brutally quiet considering the fact they were still out in nature. According to average expectations, night bugs should chirr quietly to say the least, but the story behind Dagobah's mystery was just about to be told by Highhold.

"So," He settled himself, speaking in a lower voice, "As I might have mentioned it earlier today, they've got quite the Separatist armies around. The droids are working on a gigantic weapon that would not simply wipe me out, but an entire population on any chosen planet."

"Ah!" Obi-Wan cried out in realization, "Is that the explanation of Dagobah's situation? That explains everything!" Alpha and Bost exchanged some happy glances as the Jedi master got satisfied by the answer.

"The weapon," Bost coughed, "Well, it's nothing to underestimate. I've seen it from afar once, it's size is brutal too. It's powerful -as you can all see it." He spread his arms to the sides with a sad smile on his face, "I'm not sure about the range it's power can spread until, but this planet was no big deal for it, and Dagobah isn't exactly small."

"Wonderful," Alpha grumbled, "So if we don't destroy it on the spot, it'll go and pew pew, bye planets, right?"

"Basically."

"Great."

"Now about Dagobah. For Obi-Wan," Highhold smiled on the master, whose eyes got locked on the boy's instantly by hearing the subject, "The weapon was complete ten months ago, and what's here, or not here, is the result of the test run."

"Oh Force!" Kenobi exclaimed, "But that means it's fully operational by now! I mean, look at this planet! There's nothing left here!" His fearful expression was remarkable. He knew nothing yet.

"Not to worry," Bost smirked, "It's far from finished. A few weeks after the test run, the weapon constructing droids ran into some difficulties. Several parts of the weapon, gears, mechanical forces et cetera, didn't survive the first launch and broke. The repairing is still in process." He reassured Obi-Wan.

"Oh, that's a relief." The master relaxed a little, "How can you be sure it's not near finished?"

"Well, I might have stolen a few parts of it just to get an idea of the damage," Bost rose from the ground, "Be right back." He approached his room and pushed the secret door open. "Sorry, I can't see a thing, so..." He mumbled before the sound of an ignited lightsaber could be heard, "Gotta light this place up a little... Ah, there it is!" He walked back with the dark blue saber, holding a small gear in his hand.

"See, this itsy-bitsy gear is neccesary in the construction, and the weapon requires a hundred of these to be as eifficient as it is. And where was this made? It says right here; made in Oba Diah. Which species made it then? The Pykes. Can you see the Separatists making peaceful business with them?" He raised an eyebrow with a smirk and shook his head violently, "Not gonna happen anytime soon."

"Smart!" Obi-Wan's face lit up, "I've heard about the Pykes as well. No business could be easy going with them."

"And that's one of our advantages!" Bost sat back to the pillow and reunited the circle of men. "There are more missing parts of it as well." He turned off his lightsaber and placed it on the floor. The tiny gear stayed in his hands, he ran it through his fingers playfully in an amused mood. Thanks Pykes.

"Excellent. But on the darker side... How did living things die out? Where are the bodies?"

Obi-Wan's question startled the boy. He hesitated for a moment before answering, like if he was hiding something. He swallowed before he spoke, "You see... That weapon affected the entire planet. When it was activated, visible energy waves left it, spreading in all ways. The only possible explanation of the substance is that the waves contained molecules that are harmful for organic beings, but I'm not much of a chemistry person." He smiled, "But whatever living thing the wave crossed died immediately. The bodies then sank into swamps, broke down biologically, chemically, you get it."

"Uh," was all the clone Alpha added.

"What do you know about the surroundings of the weapon?" Obi-Wan asked.

"Surrounded by hundreds and hundreds of droid armies, bombs, canons... Need to hear more?"

"Not the canons," Alpha could swear canon just became a curse, "I hate those for shooting our ship down."

"Don't even remind me of that glorious accident." The Jedi master sighed, "Twenty-four hours ago. Force, so much has happened since!"

Silence fell on the Republicans as they realized how eventful their day has been. The flickering light in the middle of the circle shone less brightly now, in need of new batteries. They were staring in front of themselves, wondering on the exact same thing; What would come next?

The tiny gear escaped from Bost's hand and dropped down on the floor. A sigh left his mouth as she reached out to pick it up again. His motion caused the weak lamp to tremble and flicker, switching on and off. Eventually, the batteries gave up and died. The tree house fell into deep darkness.

"Sorry." Bost apologized and turned his lightsaber on once again. He could see much clearer now with it's light than he could with the weak lamp. The others were staring into the deep blue of his saber for a few seconds before turning their own weapons on. Alpha sighed, not having one of those lightsabers he remained in darkness.

"I'm confused by the timeline," Anakin spoke at a sudden. The other three nearly forgot about his presence due to his lack of participation in their conversation, "You said the Sith put you on this planet about two years ago. But this weapon is quite new if I remember correctly. And that means you were here way before it, therefore when it was tested on Dagobah's surface, you were here."

Skywalker could swear all the breathings stopped after hearing his examination. He put on a confidend smile before he continued, "And after what you said about the energy wave harming all organic beings, I came to the conclusion that the wave either didn't spread upwards and you hid in this tree house like a coward, or it spread everywhere, but you weren't on the planet after all. If you were, you'd be dead. Come on, don't hesitate, I need the answer, Highhold!" He grinned.

Oh how satisfied Skywalker felt after his little discovery! Bost's story was sweet, but of course it was a lie. He wouldn't be alive othervise. Skywalker gets a point this time.

Alpha was taken aback by the theory, but he frowed by Anakin's saying. He exchanged disappointed looks with Obi-Wan and was about to comment on The Chosen One's harsh attitude, when Bost sighed, signalling them that he was fine with it. All eyes gazed the boy's expression, waiting for his reply on the theory.

Calmly, The Exceptional spoke, not making eye contact with any of them, "I knew you'd ask about it. I didn't leave my whereabouts out of content because I had to hide something, simply because I wouldn't think it's more important than explaining a current situation. But anyways," He took a deep breath, "I was on the planet. Ten months ago? Totally. I had no ships to leave with after all. I've seen the launch of the weapon coming, more droids would come around and work day by day, but when they did launch the test run I was taken aback. I was approximately halfway between the tree house and the construction area when the wave came. I heard fauna screams before it came to my sight, brushing the ground and taking the lives of bogwings and dragonsnakes away. I was terrified."

The boy studied the other three's faces to see if they were listening. Obi-Wan was so into the story he forgot to smile, just nodded for Bost to keep going with a worried expression.

"Then something... Something turned me on. I had no possible explanation for it, it just happened. It's like my instincts told me what to do. I stood where I was and pushed my arms forwards, then I only remembered the wave consuming everything but me, as like I created an energy field which could block it. I put all my strenght in keeping the wave away and once it swept away, I fell down uncontious. I wondered about this event until the day I met you. Now I know it was the Force."
