Chapter Nine -All We Are
Anakin and Alpha were having great fun at the moment Obi-Wan walked back to them. Talking about some Wookies who did something abnormal, they laughed every tenth second. Obi-Wan sent them a questioning look as he approached them, his head was still filled with information.
"Padawan, Alpha," He called in a quieter way, "be careful around him." He signalled towards the boy sitting a bit further apart.
"Is he dangerous? A spy?"
"No Alpha," The Master sighed, "Not at all. Just... just soften your words around him. He went through awfully lot, so much..."
"Master, you seem troubled." Anakin stated, but it came out more like a question.
"I am, to be honest... there's just so much going on!"
"We barely arrived!" The padawan frowned, "Is he troublesome?"
Obi-Wan looked up, "No, he's just..." He was out of words, "...Go talk to him yourself."
"Alright," Anakin nodded, then looked to the distance. He raised his voice as he called over the mysterious one. The boy came, not too happily, mainly because he wasn't sure what the clone and Anakin himself want. But he came and sat next to Obi-Wan, so the four of them surrounded the fire in the darkness.
"Spying boy," Anakin looked at him.
He looked away in disgust, "Don't call me that!"
"Ok, fine..." He looked at his Master's face, remembering what he said earlier. Soften your words...
"What's your actual name, then?" Anakin asked, trying to sound curious so the boy would open up.
With hesitation, he spoke, "Bost. I am Bost." He said. The information was new to everyone, even to Obi-Wan. It was funny how he knew his life story, but not his name until now. He nodded, "Welcome to the team, Bost."
"The team?" The three of them asked at the exact same second.
Obi-Wan took a deep breath, "...Yes. Anakin, Alpha... let me introduce you The Exeptional." He finished, just knowing how his padawan will react.
"The what?" And Obi-Wan was right. Anakin had a jealous and angry tone.
"You heard it." His Master nodded. "Exceptional." He let out a deep sigh, like he had enough of Anakin. To say the truth, he was getting tired of the whole thing. His padawan was always the type of person who believes he's capable of everything and better than everyone else. Their morning argument about being ready for the Master rank could just support Obi-Wan's claim.
"What does that even mean? Exceptional? Is that a special someone? Can't be more special than the Chosen One! I mean, what's the Exceptional's role?"
"Anakin," His Master exhaled louder than usual.
All of a sudden, Bost spoke up. "To be honest, no one knows anything about it's existance. There's no recorded information anywhere due to the fact I was overly protected by my parents." He swallowed. "Even I didn't know about it for most of my life."
"So... how do you even know you're a Jedi?" Questioned Alpha.
"I have a lightsaber thing, or whatever you call it. Kenobi have told me it is a Jedi weapon. It was from my actual father." He stated.
"Actual? You mean..."
"I was adopted... Or more like left alone. My actual parents were killed by the Sith, so I was raised up by foster parents."
