Chapter One -The One That Argues

Sunrise shone through the clouds on the planet Coruscant. The Jedi Temple was buzy as always now that the Clone Wars begun. Jedi left the Temple and went on missions themselves, along with the new clone soldiers. These were buzy times.

Reports have been coming from different places about Separatist attacks, one coming from Jedi Master Kenobi himself. Anakin Skywalker have fought a possible Sith apprentice, Mace Windu was taking down droid armies by himself. Clones were under the command of Jedi Generals, padawans were being turned into knights.

Although the Jedi have managed to succeed at the most, many planets still chose to join the Separatists. Senate meetings were held, speeches were heard. Senator Amidala worked hard despite her young age. A very little freetime she had now to meet with his husband, Anakin Skywalker.

Padawan Anakin Skywalker was indeed, in the middle of everything. Under the command of his Master, Obi-Wan Kenobi, he piloted clone armies in space to conquer victories. His Master was mostly running on stable ground, guided by the Force. Very strange missions they had been on. Although Obi-Wan gave him the most, Anakin still tried to gain more power, wanting to prove who he is as the Closen One. Some padawan rank was not enough for him.

That is the reason why he held up his Master one morning, when Obi-Wan was heading to a Jedi meeting. "Am I not mature enough to join a meeting?" He kept asking, "You get to hear about everything and I'm stuck here all the time!"

His attitude was what bothered Obi-Wan. Growing up, the selfless boy he once met got replaced by a grumpy teenager, someone Kenobi himself could possibly have been. He had no memories of having bad attitudes, but only his once living Master would have answers for that.

Qui-Gon Jinn was missed by both Anakin and Obi-Wan. Although Obi-Wan taught the most, Anakin was still incomplete. The spirit was not in him yet, the will to fight anytime for the better. Most of the time, the padawan wasn't actually happy about the missions he could be on, he never appreciated that he could live outside the Temple.

"You do realize how you participate in the missions, right Anakin?" Obi-Wan asked the careless teenager sharply. "Claiming you never hear about anything is a lie. Getting the chance to lead a whole fleet unsupervised is a great honor, it never happened to anyone in your age before!"

"Why can't I join a Jedi meeting? Why can't I be a part of it? They give me clones, but no words?" Anakin complained. Being in a half sitting position on his bed, he glanced on his Master from behind a holopad.

"Anakin, you're not a Jedi Master yet. You are yet too-"

"Exactly." He irretupted Obi-Wan. "Why am I not a Master yet? Did you not teach me everything? Are you holding me back?"

"I am not holding you back, padawan. But what I taught you is not yet completed in you. You know what you are capable of, but you will need time. No student can pass a test without practice."

"Practice?" Anakin spat the word, "I thought I'm over that stage! Master, this is madness! I am ready to be a Jedi Master!"

"I am not starting an argument over this again, Anakin. I told you, you're not yet ready." Obi-Wan looked at him in the eye. Anger was what Anakin was filled with at that very moment.

"Why am I not ready?" He yelled. "I am good enough!"

"Anakin. Patience is all you need. Think. No padawan got the Master rank this early! And no padawans join Jedi Master meetings. That is exactly why I'm leaving you right here!" Obi-Wan backed up from Anakin's bed.

Halfway towards the door, he stepped on something and lost his balance. Nearly falling, he leaned on a shelf to reclaim his balance. Being alright, he looked down. "What is that?"

"Pizza, Master." Anakin said with a sacrastic smile. He enjoyed the idea of Obi-Wan holding onto shelves and slipping on some fast-food. "Ordered yesterday. You ruined it."

Obi-Wan sighed, but a smile appeared on his face. He was still young as a Jedi Master, he knew how to handle these situations. "Clean it up before Mace sees it."

With that, he left the boy in his room. Anakin smiled as he closed the door, being surprised there is still more than seriousness in him. He often forgot there is barely a seven years old difference between the two of them, and that isn't as much.

Only if I could join that meeting! Anakin, now peacefully, thought. What is going on again? More battles? Yeah. He activated his holopad and enjoyed social media in his freetime.
