Chapter Two -The Jedi Meeting

Running in late, Obi-Wan Kenobi made his way to the room where the Jedi meeting was held. Taking a deep breath, he knocked and opened the door.

"Sorry." He sat down quickly, "Just oversleeping." He never would say anything or blame Anakin for these things in front of Mace Windu or Yoda.

Some Jedi sighed, some ignored Obi-Wan's appearance. "He has a padawan!" Someone quietly said, like if that would explain why he run in late. Either way, the Jedi meeting began at the moment when Master Yoda coughed.

"A serious issue, we are facing with. A hard choice, we must all make." He said. The Jedi payed attention, it was unusual for the Grand Jedi Master to seem this worried.

Mace Windu took over from here, his hologram was shaking due to poor connection. Him, and many others could not attend today's meeting personally, only their blue holograms showed their presence.

"The Force leaded us to discover great danger. On one of the outer planets, the Separatists have been working on evil plans that have been unnoticed until now. They have a plot to overthrow the Republic and rise above us." He said.

"Creating new weapons, they do," Yoda added, "Dangerous, they sound. But fear, we must not. Snarter than machines, we are!"

"The planet is Dagobah. We must find out what is it that the Separatists are working on. For that reason, one of us will go there and investigate!" Mace told the curious Jedi. However, when Yoda asked for volunteers, everyone had an excuse.

"Myself and Master Mundi are currently after a noticed Separatist known as General Griveous." A female togruta, Shaak Ti said.

"I am in the Outer Rim along with my fleet of clones!" Master Seease Teen mentioned.

On a deep voice, Plo Koon spoke as well, "Kassyyk needs protection as well. Separatists have been noticed on surface, I am currently there to protect the living species."

Looking disappointed, Mace Windu looked over the holograms. He soon realized the only person who was actually present today other than Yoda was Obi-Wan. Sitting there, stroking his yet short beard, he seemed to be thinking.

"What do you think about the situation, Kenobi?" Mace asked him.

"I just came back from Muunilinst, and my padawan, Anakin have also conquered victory. If there are no volunteers, I would undertake this mission." He replied.

"Very good. This is set then! All of you may leave, and may the Force be with us all!" Mace dismissed the Jedi. All holograms disappeared, leaving only Yoda, Mace and Obi-Wan in the room.

Mace walked up to Obi-Wan immediately. "You don't know what you got yourself into!" He looked troubled.

"Dangerous, this mission will be, Master Kenobi. Be careful, you must be!" Yoda warned him as well.

"What can be so hard, Masters? Isn't it just some junk the Separatists placed on one deserted planet?" Obi-Wan questioned them. He have never seen the two Jedi look so troubled, he thought they might be overreacting this a little.

"See this from a different angle, you do. Good it is. But be very careful, you must!" Yoda said for the hundredth time.

"If you'll really take Skywalker with you, warn him as well. We don't want him walking on his own path, then getting killed, do we?" Mace asked.

"Of course I will make sure nothing will happen!"

"Good. May the Force be with you, Obi-Wan!" Said Yoda.

With that, Obi-Wan Kenobi left the Jedi meeting room. He was heading back to Anakin's, to tell him the news and get him and himself prepared.
