Chapter Five -Lowered Landing

Obi-Wan was looking outside constantly, his eyes never leaving the empty space. The ship only passed a few stars, nothing more. This Dagobah was sure deserted.

Alpha was sitting on the sub piloting seat and talked to Anakin Skywalker. After his Master mentioned how alike they are, Anakin actually started to enjoy the clone's company. They really had things in common, and for once, Anakin thought he made a friend.

Alpha was just telling him about training as a clone. He mentioned the challenges and teams and supervisors. He talked about Jedi Shaak Ti as well, and how weird it was to find the meanings behind her words.

"All Jedi are like that." Said Anakin, "Especially Yoda. I never get what he's saying after a longer brainstorm."

"How about him?" The clone glanced back.

"Obi-Wan? Eh, he's actually pretty normal. He began teaching me very early, maybe he didn't learn the ways of confusing yet." Both Anakin and Alpha smiled widely on the padawan's comment.

"How can he keep staring outside for such a long time?"

"When my Master really wants to achieve something, he can focus extremely hard." Said Anakin. After a few seconds of silence, he added, "It wasn't always like that."

Alpha looked puzzled, so Anakin spoke, "I became his padawan when even his training wasn't completed. It was a request of a fallen Jedi, and Obi-Wan promised that he'll teach me the ways of the Force. I was an extreme child, all the ideas and attitude," Anakin smiled, "I really liked the beginning. But then everything got kinda boring. Obi-Wan got older and more responsible; that beard of his symbolizes the New Times to me, the time when fun got replaced by seriousness. He used to be afraid of things I loved, he didn't really know how to control me, but once he figured it out, everything darkened. And here we're now." He sighed to finish.

"So your relationship with your Master is not that good." Alpha summarized.

"We can say that," Replied Anakin, "but then again, there are a few fun moments. Just today, he slipped on my pizza."

They burst out laughing.

Alpha turned back to see if the laughing bothered Obi-Wan. Surprisingly, he was still watching nothing, the empty space. "You sure he's ok there?"

"I told you," Said Anakin, "he's concentrating. Staying still. Focusing. Who knows, maybe even meditating!" He didn't bother to look back. Instead, he grabbed the controlling joystick in the piloting seat to take a turn. He managed to keep an eye on the way even in the middle of conversations.

"What is that?" Obi-Wan still looked outside, but his finger was pointing on a small, green dot. "Is that-"

"Yes. Dagobah."

"We're here!" Alpha left his seat, "Get the scanners!"

"On it," Obi-Wan opened a built-in cupboard and grabbed an object. He placed it on his holopad and turned towards the window to see the planet.

"Now, I'll scan the surface to see where life forms are. I placed this scanner on my holopad so it can detect a wider range of life forms. It's a neccesary tool." He explained, "We'll land where there're no life forms. Remember, stay unnoticed!"

"We get it, Master." Anakin nodded, "Pilot the ship, Alpha!"

"Right away, sir!"

"You see anything?"

"No, Anakin... The scanner shows nothing. It's like there are no life forms at all!" Obi-Wan said, not really believe it.

"Maybe it's only the weapon! The junk might be on the planet and the separatists could've left! They might be using Dagobah as a storage planet!"

His Master smiled on that. "Storage planet alright. Get ready for landing!"

"I got it, sir!" Alpha began flying lower. He controlled the ship while the two Jedi discussed the plans once more. To hide the ship.

The ship was flying lower and lower until it reached Dagobah's atmosphere. Alpha was proud of his controlling, but nothing was over yet.

"Watch out!!!" Obi-Wan screamed as a huge canon was firing towards them. They flew into the middle of a weapon hangar! "Avoid! Dodge, I mean, fly away! They're firing! Alpha, they're firing!"

The clone just didn't manage to pull the ship over. A bullet hit the front and the aircraft began falling down. With a loud noise, it crashed into the ground and everything went black.
