Hello there! I'm Cherry Lakes. Yes, my name is two nouns. Thanks, parents. I was born with a special talent. I can see people's name tags. Their best trait, and then their worst trait. It's good most of the time! Most of the time. But it can also make life very difficult, mostly because I have to hide it with my life. If I tell anybody, anybody, I loose my power.
I was born with my power, and it took me a while to get used to it. At first I thought that everyone could see them, but when I talk to my friends about them, they were always confused. And then, when I was 10, I had a dream explaining everything. Now, I'll explain it to you! People are born with name tags, but at first, they don't have any words. as they grow, their name tags develop. Mine developed at about 10. Once name tags develop, they never change, and they always say the same two things: best trait, worst trait. Name tags can't come off, and you can see them through clothes. As far as I know, I'm the only one who can see them.
