His name tag was changed. My mind raced. This has never happened before! How? Why? His top one still read "I'm super nice and super hot." but his bottom one, his worst trait, was changed. I felt tears sting my eyes as I read it. Right there, It read "I cheat on my girlfriend."
"What? What's wrong, Babe?" Tony asked. I just stood there, catatonic. He cheated on me? What? When? How? My mind raced and the tears stung my eyes. I felt like I was wearing a barbed wire necklace. "Cherry?" I shook my head and ran away. I didn't know where I was going, I just ran. I didn't cry, though. I was in too much shock. 3 days ago he kissed me and told me he loved me. What had happened? Who did he cheat with? I opened the doors to the building. I ran to the girl's locker room. I sat down and started to convulsively cry. Hard. I sobbed. I couldn't even catch my breath. I didn't even try to wipe them away. I just sobbed. I sat there in misery sobbing untill the bell rang. Then, knowing a class would be coming soon, I stood up and ran to the stage. I hid myself behind the dark drapes of the curtains. I stayed there, sobbing endlessly for the entire period. When the bell rang again, It marked lunch. I was NOT hungry. I heard the lunchroom fill, but I did not emerge from my hiding spot.
As the sounds of the lunchroom grew quiet, marking the end of lunch hour, I saw the door to the stage open. I ducked behind the drapes. "Cherry?" A small voice quietly called. It was Jadee. I stood up. "I'm here, Jadee." I whispered. She rushed over and hugged me. "Cherry! I have been looking everywhere for you! You didn't come to Math, so I went and looked for you all lunch! I'm so glad I found you!" I started crying again. "Oh my gosh! Cherry what is wrong?" I was resting in her arms, crying like a baby. "Tony cheated on me." She was silent. "You found out? How?" I sat up. "What do you mean "I found out?" You knew!?" She looked down sadly. Then she pulled out her phone and showed me a picture of Tony making out with a girl. His hands where in her hair, and she had her hands around his neck. It filled me with fresh rage. "You knew and you didn't tell me?!'' I pushed her away. "Oh, Cherry, I didn't know how! I was afraid you'd hate me!" Tears unstoppably gushed from my eyes. "Well... I DO HATE YOU! I hate you and I hate Tony! It was YOUR stupid dare that made me meet Tony anyway! It's your fault! so go away and LEAVE ME ALONE!!" I yelled at her, crying. She looked up at me in shock. Now she was crying, too. "I said leave me alone!" She wiped her eyes and left. I sunk to the ground and continued to cry. I was miserable.
