My phone buzzed Monday morning, and I yawned. I did NOT want to go to school. But then, I remembered that today was Tony's first day at my school. I flew out of bed and began getting dressed in nice, cute clothes. I pulled my hair up, and did some light makeup on my eyes. Tony hadn't called me since the date, but he had texted me at least one a day. Feeling only slightly guilty, I deleted the texts every night before I turned in my phone to my parents. When I went downstairs to meet the bus, Mom was sitting on the couch with Cara and Gina in her arms, crying. "What's wrong?" I asked, concerned. "Your sisters got food poisoning from a birthday party and are gonna stay home from school today." Gina rolled over and groaned. "Mooom! My stomach huuurts!" Cara was clutching her stomach. "But, Mom! It was my turn to be the line leader at school! I don't want to miss that!" Mom looked slightly stressed. "And I was going to going to go out with my friends today, so we are all missing out on something, aren't we!" She relaxed. "How about I make you some soup, girls. Cherry, go on and catch the bus. Have a good day at school!" I waved and ran outside. Jadee met me on the bus. "Hey, did you remember that Tony is starting school today?" I chuckled sweetly. "Yeah, It's all I could think about all weekend!" She closed her book and turned towards me. "You guys would be the cutest couple. I'm serious!" I blushed profusely. "Jadee!" She laughed. "Realy! Ask him about another date where you help him catch up on what he missed this semester!" I thought about it. "Welll... ok. But Where would we go? I can't go to my house!" "Just go to the football field or something. He'll realy appreciate it, I'm sure!'' The bus stopped and I stood up. "Ok, but only if you take Jackson on another date." She looked down and blushed "Ok, deal." I stepped off the bus and headed to the school.
When I walked in, I saw Tony in the office. I took a deep, excited breath and went over to him. When he saw me, he smiled. "Hey, Cherry!" "Hey, Tony!" The secretary crinkled a paper to get out attention. Her name tags said "I am good at oginisation." and "I hate kids" She clicked her pen and spoke, "Good. You already know one another. Miss lakes will show you to your locker and tell you where your classes are." Tony smiled and handed me his scedual. "Alright, I can do that." I scanned his classes. "Hey, We have English and GYM together!" He chuckled. "Good, maybe you will make it a little better." I blushed. Why did I always do that when he was around? I walked down the hall until I found his locker. It was right across from mine! He opened it up and showed his backpack inside. "Sorry, but hoodies aren't allowed in class." He looked down at his NBA hoodie. "Oh, thanks for letting me know!" He slipped it off and put it, too in his locker. He was muscular, and I could see that through his shirt. "Do you want to try out for anything? Basketball, Football, Soccer?" He shrugged. "Eh, I'm not that into playing sports... do they have an opening for yearbook photography?" I nodded. "Yeah! Actually, one just opened up! Talk to Shelly in the office. She'll set you up." We where quiet for a second. "Hey, do you want to meet up at the library after school and then maybe go to the field? I can help you catch up on what you missed..." He beamed "Yes! Absolutely! Thank you, Cherry! But, where is the library?" I showed him on the school map, and then showed him to his first class. "The bell rings at 8:15, and free time is from 1:30 to 2:00." The bell rang, inturrupting me. "See you in English, then." Tony waved, and we parted ways.
As promised, Tony met me in the library after school. I sat by him, and he showed me a backpack full of homework. "Oh, my! Let's go get this done." He followed me out the back doors and to the field. We sat down under a tree and began. An hour later, We where done. "Thank you so much, Cherry. I could never have done this without you!" "Anytime." I replied. "How can I repay you? How about dinner Friday night? You pick." I blushed, but tried to be cool about it. "Ok, yeah!" he smiled and picked up his backpack. "Allright. See you Friday." I smiled and hugged him. I once again felt his warmth and love surrounding me. "See ya." I left towards home, beaming.
